A fantastic day - Could not recommend this trip enough. If you’re hesitant to book it just do it. It is incredibly accessible and so enjoyable. Huge thanks to the glacier team Monika and Steven. A special mention to our guide Vjeran for not only getting us there and back but going above and beyond. I leant a lot about Iceland and had the best time. A real highlight.

Wonderful time ice climbing - Had a great time doing this activity. The first part in the bus with Anastasia was quite interesting and full of enjoyable facts about Iceland. Then we hit the ice with Daniel. He was amazing and truly did awesome. He went out of his way to make our experience as enjoyable as possible. We hiked the glaciers, and did 3 different climbs. We even got to explore a small ice tunnel ! All of this was done in a very friendly and humourous manner, and we all felt very secured with Daniel. Thanks to the whole team that made this trip very enjoyable to us. Ps : Daniel, if you read this, I need you to follow me back on IG so that I can send you the pictures !

Fun, Exciting and well worth it - I was lucky enough to be the only booking of the day, my guide Daniel was excellent and allowed me to take on bigger and more exciting climbs once he gauged my skill level and without a group we were able to do a lot more exploring that usually Glacier is well worth the trip and the climbing is fun and exciting Would go again

Incredible experience - even for first-timers! - This was the most exciting and interesting activity we tried in Iceland! The views on the glacier are surreal and you just feel so small in the face of this natural wonder. It’s incredible! Our guide Daniel was great, he adjusted to the group’s needs and level, he was cheerful, funny, very supportive, we felt confident and ready to explore! We first tried climbing on a smaller wall, learned the basic techniques and then moved on to the bigger crevasse. It was absolutely exhilarating to be lowered down into it, and them climbing all the way up where the rest of the group is supportively applauding for you! Afterwards, the guide Daniel showed us a few more glacier features, let us try some tools and we returned to the base camp. This trip really exceeded my expectations in terms of how fun and awesome it was! I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Highlight of the trip! - 10/10 would recommend for a day out from Reykjavík. The pick up and drop off process from your hotel or bus stop made everything so much easier. There are plenty of food and toilet stops along the way but worth taking some cash too as eftpos can go offline sometimes. Ice climbing and hiking up the Glacier was the highlight of the day. And probably the trip! Such a cool experience to hike up a Glacier and climb up an ice wall. Guides were super fun, helpful and knowledgeable. We always felt safe (as can be!) No complaints! Would absolutely recommend. A tip for all tourists is be back at the bus on time for every stop because it slows everyone else down. Sometimes people in your group meet up with other groups to do different activities. So timing is key.

Glacier Hike & Ice Climbing tour with Southcoast Adventure - the highlight of our trip! - We took the Blue Ice: Glacier Hike & Ice Climbing tour with Southcoast Adventure. This was a 4 hour small group experience that was truly unforgettable and the highlight of our entire week in Iceland. The views were unbelievable and something we will never forget. Steve was an amazing guide and brought the perfect mix of information and humor to this very adventurous and unique experience. He clearly loves what he does and made sure we were all safe throughout the experience. While there was some level of physical challenge for this tour, Steve made it fun. We highly recommend this tour, and if you can - take it with Steve!

Amazing guide and stunning views!!! - Our guide Kevin (from Troll.is) was amazing !!! He truly made the day special. He was so caring, so patient, so knowledgable about not only the terrain but also about ice climbing in general. He even taught us how to do the "viking pushup" to drink fresh glacier water straight from the glacier! The whole day was phenomenal.

Incredible experience! - The ice climbing was an incredible experience but what made it so special was Steve, our guide. He was a lot of fun and you could tell he loves what he does. He laughed and joked but made sure everyone was safe. Highly recommend the ice climbing! And if you can, go with Steve!
