Additional Information

Pusuk Buhit, in its splendor, harbors a legend. According to the Batak Tribe’s mythology, Puncak Pusuk Buhit is believed to be the origin of their tribe. The Batak people hold that the Batak king was born at Pusuk Buhit.

Subsequently, the king established a village in a valley called Sianjur Mula-mula. This settlement marked the start of the Batak tribe’s dispersion across various regions, a story you can further explore through the local community.

This majestic mountain stands at approximately 1972 meters above sea level, with districts such as Sianjur Mula-Mula, Harian Boho, and Pangururan surrounding it. Upon reaching the summit, you are greeted by breathtaking views of the lake, Samosir Island, mountains, and waterfalls! The climb takes about 3 hours to ascend and 2 hours to descend.
