  • Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum - This is our first stop at Patriots Point. You will get a broad side view of USS Yorktown with views of its deck that is filled with fighter planes. Riders may see Helicopters that regularly take off from this point. USS Yorktown is Patriots Points main attraction. We will also show you the USS Yorktown very close at the second location at the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina, this is an often overlooked but very up close perspective of the aircraft carrier. TAKE TIME TO SMELL THE ROSES - We enjoyed the speed of the bikes, but next time we would take more time to enjoy the scenery and hear the stories. Ty was an excellent tour guide.

Highly recommend! - The bikes in great condition, very comfortable, easy to use. A light rain started when we were about to start our ride, Teddy (owner) was very flexible to change the ride to another day convenient to us and we were lucky to have him as our guide. We had a nice ride around Mount Pleasant. Highly recommended!

An Amazing Experience In Every Way! - We rode on Christmas Day, and there were no formal tours offered. The shop delivered our e-bikes to our hotel on Christmas Eve, worked with the hotel to make sure the bikes were charged and ready to ride, came to the hotel to show us how to use the bikes, and then returned December 26 to pick up the bikes. Each bike came with a water bottle, a rain poncho, and gloves. I honestly cannot remember the last time I have experienced such amazing customer service! And the bikes. Oh, the bikes. One of my lifelong dreams had been to ride on the beach. We rented the fat tire beach cruisers, and this girl got to ride on the beach! It was so fun. The bikes were simple to operate, powerful enough to get us where we wanted to go, and a joy to ride. I had never used a throttle, and it was an extra added burst of power. Ty, the owner, provided us with his cell number, so that if we did happen to run the batteries down, he could remotely unlock the van at the shop so we could swap out the batteries. All this on Christmas Day, mind you. Also, the bikes were fully charged when we began our ride, with all 5 battery bars showing. We rode a total of 30 miles over the course of the day. When we ended our ride, we STILL had all 5 bars. I own a Trek e-bike, and I spend much of my time worrying about running out of battery. This will most certainly not be a problem with the bikes from Rebellion Roads. I recommend doing business with Rebellion Roads.

Don't miss it! - My daughter and I had the best time! Our tour guide, Ben, did such a fantastic job. We rode the "Outer Banks" tour and finished with a ride on Sullivan's beach. It was a chilly but worth it. It was one of our favorite parts of our trip! Ben was awesome.

FANTASTIC time on the eBikes! - We had a GREAT time!! We rented the eBikes for three hours with two couples and three teens and had a BLAST. It was everyone's favorite part of our Charleston trip. Our skill levels ranged from expert mountain biker to absolute beginner and everyone did fine. The shop was great to work with. One of our bikes had a flat and we called them and they immediately brought us a new bike and added 30 minutes to our rental time - no questions asked. They were fantastic and we had a wonderful time. We would definitely do it again! Great experience.

Great tour! - Taking the shores tour was the best thing we did on our trip to Charleston. Our guide Ben was amazing. He was very knowledgeable of the area and led us on a great tour. The stops along the way were beautiful. It was a great way to explore the Mount Pleasant area and learn some history along the way. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Charleston!

Great E-Bike Tour - We had a fabulous "Shores E-bike Tour" with Trevor as our guide. It was definitely the highlight of our visit to Charleston! The bikes were great, the route was fun and interesting and Trevor was wonderful. He was knowledgeable of the area, informative, and very safety conscious. If we had more time, we would take another tour with Trevor and Rebellion Roads. It was well worth the money.

Mehhh - It was ok. I picked this company due to the description of exploring Charleston. I even asked to be sure and it was confirmed. The owner and guide were great. The tour was boring and we just went around and back and forth in the same neighborhood. I expected more informative education. The stops seemed slow as to make the tour last longer. I did express how I felt to the guide. The rain made us stop before the best part-beach and lighthouse. No supplement offered for ending the tour early. Maybe my expectations were set too high. Overall, it was just ok. I would not do it again. PS-I am pretty sure the name and description of the tour is different than the name of the tour I chose online.
