Very nice - We were in town for a wedding and had a half day to be tourist and we chose this place. It was wonderful. A lot of walking so if you're not up for that it might be a bit much.

Must See if you love history and southern life - This is a beautiful plantation. You won't see a lot of the house because it's still a private residence, but you do get inside and it's gorgeous. Take the wagon ride to see all of the active planting areas, and make sure you attend the Gullah events.

Beautiful grounds and loads of history - The grounds of this plantation are very nice. The gardens are remarkable and we’re in full bloom. The house was somewhat disappointing since it was built in the early 1900’s. You only. Got to see and walk thru three rooms on the lower level. There is a Steinway piano on the lower level dating back to the late 1800’s.

Beautiful Place to Visit - Boone Hall plantation is amazingly beautiful. Employees are friendly and well informed about the history of the plantation. At the end of the day, one of the managers went out of his way to help us to get an Uber. The only suggestion I have: make sure the cafeteria has fresh coffee all the time!

Beautiful area - Beautiful grounds and friendly staff. Would liked to have seen more of main house and a working cottenal gin. The grounds are outstanding though, highly recommend taking the foot bridge over to the over flow lot as it is a really scenic walk across the lake, with turtles and alligators.
