- Mount Batur - A tour to see the beautiful views from the Mt. Batur volcano as the sun rises above the horizon.
Between 2 to 3 am, we will provide private transportation from your hotel to the hiking starting point, at the base of Mt. Batur. (Arrival time to this location is around 3:45am). There you will meet your local hiking guide, who will explain all of the safety procedures. You will then start your exciting journey to the top of the volcano crater, and should arrive around 6am. You can then enjoy the sunrise, as you trek around the top of the crater. At the top of the crater, a small breakfast is included. We then depart for the hike down around 7:30am, arriving back to your vehicle around 9am. On the way back to your hotel, we can also stop at a Balinese coffee and spice plantation.

Situated in the Kintamani sub-district of Bangli district, Mount Batur has a formidable history of 30 eruptions between 1804 and 2000. The eruption of most significant damage took place from August 2 to September 21, 1926, wherein lava enveloped Batur Village as well as the Ulun Danu Batur Temple. Standing tall at 1717mdpl, Mount Batur endured a massive eruption that led to a significant part of its body collapsing, thereby forming a vast caldera. Its altitude of 1717 Mdpl makes it a favorite amongst novice climbers. The breathtaking vistas offered by Mount Batur are absolutely remarkable. Ascent typically commences at around 3 am, with an estimated climb time of around 3 hours for those new to mountaineering.
