Great guide and incredible experience - Alem with Cold river tours is one of the best guides we had the pleasure to tour with, very informative and knowledgeable, good people skills and warm sense of humor. Various types of transportation added to the experience in a positive way. Great dinner with very generous portions. All perfectly paired with tasty Bosnian wines. Amazing experience on the river - Coming back to Bosnia and Herzegovina is always a treat, but experiencing a super generous dinner and wine while cruising on a beautiful river was something else. This gastro experience was the highlight of my trip. I was a little doubtful because I booked this tour by myself, but Alem made me feel so welcomed and introduced me to other guests. After two glasses of wine I made new friends 😎and we had an incredible time. Love this country and it’s food!!!

Wine and Food extravaganza - After being picked up at the central location in Mostar, we were taken to the Bunica River, where we boarded a beautiful wooden boat. The table was overflowing with local delicacies; truly the kind of feast you usually only see on cooking shows. Lush greenery lined the riverbanks, creating a breathtaking backdrop throughout the cruise. We enjoyed four different wines—and let me tell you, this wasn’t a wine tasting, it was a wine pouring! So much fun! A big thank you to the wonderful family that runs the River Grill. They were incredibly kind, especially the young boy who captained our boat. 🙏

An absolute must when in Mostar - From the very first moment, this experience captured our hearts. Drifting down an emerald-green river surrounded by birdsong felt like a dream. Every detail — from the exquisite food and wine to the serene rhythm of the water — was perfection. The BEST Day in Herzegovina! - I always do wine tours wherever I travel, and this one was the perfect blend of everything I love — great wine, local culture, and warm hospitality. Our guide, Alam, was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience seamless. The dinner was delicious, perfectly paired with excellent wines, and the river cruise was simply magical. Even my boyfriend, who’s not usually into wine, absolutely loved it! We also met another lovely couple on the tour, which made the evening even more fun. Highly recommend!

Absolutely marvelous experience from beginning to end – everything was amazing! - The owner, Alem, personally picked us up right on time, and even the drive to the location felt like a history lesson about the area. On the way, we stopped at his vineyard, where he explained all the local grape varieties in detail. We then arrived at the starting point, a charming river grill. We hopped on a traditional boat and were warmly welcomed with delicious local appetizers, paired with an excellent selection of wine. One of my favorite moments was when Alem pulled a bottle of white wine out of the river—it had been chilling there! The river stays at 12°C, which is the perfect temperature for serving white wine. Dinner was absolutely incredible, and throughout the evening, Alem shared fascinating facts about wine. Honestly, I’m not sure what was better—the wine, the BBQ, or the serene boat ride through stunning natural surroundings. If we ever return to Bosnia, we will definitely do this tour again. Thank you Alem!
