Pleasurable March tour of Estuary! - A sunny March Saturday afternoon. Sea lions were lounging in the harbor on the docks. Otters were out in plentitude in the estuary. Birds of all kinds were flying around & resting everywhere. Mama otter with baby on her tummy. Playful otters chasing each other near our boat. Nature guide was knowledgeable, friendly, at ease with the environment & attentive to everyone's questions. Our family of 7 plus about 10 other people made it a very uncrowded, joyful experience. We brought snacks & drinks to enjoy the atmosphere. We could freely stand up, walk around & get fabulous views & pictures of the otters, seals, birds & all life in the estuary. (I should have included some of our pictures, but am short on time). Driver was friendly, knowledgeable, skillful in driving. A very pleasant, interesting, educating, peaceful tour of the Estuary!

Perfect day in nature - Thoroughly enjoyed the adventure and opportunity to see and learn about native birds, sea otters and seals in their natural environment. The naturalists were engaging and knowledgeable and imparted their knowledge to young and old in a learner friendly manner. Felt grateful for the perfect weather and super memorable experience.

Natives Enjoy the Slough - As Monterey residents we decided February would be a great time to enjoy the El Cat experience. We arrived for the 11 AM slot and were joined by two other couples. Marina welcomed us and soon we were on our way. Fun seeing the boats in the harbor from a different perspective. The sea lions barked as we eased our way into the Slough. More otters and harbor seals than expected greeted us. Lots of shorebirds and cormorants as well. Marina knew the habitat and shared so much info. Great experience. We’ll go again.
