Highlight of my trip! - I wasn't sure what to expect but this was incredible, I went alone and met 3 lovely people who had also booked onto the trip, the place they took us was beautiful, a great view of kili and mt meru. We then went for food at the tour guides own home where they had cooked us a full traditional meal, this was some of the best food I've ever had.

Unique Experience - It was our first day in Moshi and it really was the best choice! Peter and Elly were truly impeccable! 5 STARS

Amazing Sunset over Mt. Meru - The Moshi sunset experience was great!! Pete made the experience one to remember... You're taken to a high point in Moshi to view the amazingly beautiful sunset over Mt. Meru, with breathtaking views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. We played some music, enjoyed refreshments and really enjoyed the bright orange sun setting over the mountain. The weather was perfect and the vibe was on point! I highly recommend this inexpensive evening tour to anyone who wants to experience the best viewpoint of the sunset in Moshi...

Unique and unforgettable - A magical experience. We were picked up, taken to a spot with a wonderful view of Moshi and Kilimanjaro. There was beer, music and such a chilled atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting. It's a truly unforgettable experience. We were even dropped off at our accommodation afterwards too.

Beautiful way to see the sunset - Absolutely loved our trip. It was really relaxed & a great way to experience the beautiful Tanzanian sunset. There wasn’t a bus but that was absolutely fine! We didn’t need it. It was wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing trip! - Great trip with a brilliant view of Moshi and Kilimanjaro - a very relaxing way to end a day! The trip no longer includes the bus but this did not hinder our experience in any way. Excellent views, drinks and live music just as the sun went down was amazing and Peter even kindly dropped us directly to our accommodation. We would do this trip again!

Great experience on first night in Moshi - Excellent introduction to Moshi and view of Mt Kilimanjaro. We were recommended to this by our friends that had a great experience - we called Peter and he picked us up and arranged for refreshments at his local viewing point. We were joined with other travellers. Well worth the money. Peter has excellent command of English as a person who has lived in Europe. He was a great host.

Thank you! - The Giftshop organized the sunset bus tour. Very easy and uncomplicated! I was booked the tour online and everything went well. Had a nice sunset view of Kilimanjaro! Thank u so much! In addition to that I bought a painting from the Giftshop, because there are a lot of beautiful things to buy!

Didn’t have the experience that was advertised. - Went with my friends to the sunset bus which was advertised as a great experience. However when we arrived they didn’t know we had booked the bus and very quickly called a tuktuk to come and pick us up. As 3 young girls we felt quite vulnerable getting into a random tuktuk but luckily we had our own driver that we trusted so he took us instead. When we arrived, we got on top of the broken down bus which, when looking at the advertisement, thought drove us to a good place to see the sunset. However this is not the case and we could not see the sunset at all. We were offered a drink which was nice but there was no drumming, singing or learning the local songs which was also advertised. We made a complaint to the organisers and they did give a full refund but in order to save yourselves the hassle, do not book this sunset bus.

Disappointed! - My friends and I booked the sunset bus as it came highly recommended on trip advisor for things to do in Moshi. Unfortunately our experience was terrible. We arrived at mama Africa gift shop and they weren’t even expecting us, despite our online booking. This meant that there was no one available to drive us to the bus. They offered to put us in a tuktuk and send us to the location of the bus. However, being young women in a foreign country we had our own driver take us to the location for our own safety. To our surprise we ended up at a field where a derelict bus was located. When we got there, they offered us to climb onto the roof of the stationary bus and some drinks. The bus was falling apart, and there were no drums, no music or dancing at the site. To top it all off, you couldn’t even see the sunset from any vantage point at the site, even when on the roof of the rickety bus. We were truly disappointed and quite frankly horrified at the experience, as we’d read previous great reviews. Thankfully they have agreed to refund us. I can’t speak for previous years, but I personally would not book unless you have checked with the company that they are up and running as advertised.
