Mount Kilimanjaro - Today is by no means strenuous hike hours but gives you time to adjust to your walking pace… and plenty of opportunities to look up hoping to spot some black and white colobus monkeys in the forest. A lucky few may even spot buffalo or even elephants!
Today you will overnight at Mti Mkubwa (literal translation= big tree) camp, so-called because of the large conifer trees, providing shade over the camp, one of the most picturesque on the mountain.

The Lemosho Route presents a splendid avenue for ascending Mount Kilimanjaro, owing to its stunning trails and captivating scenic vistas on either side of the mountain. As one of the newer routes, it sees less congestion and boasts better success rates. It offers an encompassing view of the surrounding landscape and starts from the Londorossi Gate. In essence, it promises the climber not only a chance to reach the summit but also to enjoy striking views throughout the journey.

Amazing way to experience Kilimanjaro !! - Ambrose was very dialed, and his crew was absolutely amazing! Once we exited the airport, Dino was waiting for us. We arrived to the host, Ambrose's house, and everything was beyond my expectations. The food was amazing, and all the little details was incredible. The tour itself was made extra special because of Ambrose's crew. Led by Antony, and also guided by Davis, Matthew, and Josef: they ensured we were all safe and having a good time. The porters and cooks and waiters all also made the trip extra special!!! They sang for us, let me cook a little soup with them, and made sure that we adjusted to the altitude no problem. Our group could not have done it without the crew that Ambrose had for us. I am so happy I got to experience this, mainly because of all of them!!! Highly recommend !!!

Trip that I never forget - The trip was amazing. We had a great team, and the guides where super! They helped me to go up the mountain.
Give me mental support. I don’t made it to the top because of my headache and nosiness. But I am proud that my husband made it to the summit together with Joseph.

EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME - An experience of a lifetime! I'm so greatful Materuni Tours gave us this opportunity to have this amazing experience. The views were unbelievable and also the guides are part of the family. The organisation was really good and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves to be in nature.

BEST JOURNEY OF MY LIFE - I would like to say Thanks You to Ambrose and all is team for the unforgettable experience that he made me live during the ascent of Kilimanjaro. The team was very professional and warm at the same time. We ate extremely well in the middle of the mountain and it was always fresh. Ambrose sent daily updates to our family and friends, which other companies don't do. It was an all-inclusive service that he provided! I recommend him 200%.

Brilliant experience on the Lemosho Route! - We have just returned from a brilliant Kilimanjaro climb with Materuni Tours. Everything was absolutely perfect - from planning the trip in the UK, to the briefing before we started the climb, the guides and porters, and finally reaching the summit.
It can be a bit of a minefield trying to find a company to book a trip up to Kilimanjaro but we couldn’t be happier that we chose Materuni Tours. We had incredible (and so much!) food on the trip, the guides spoke brilliant English and were really knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and nature, and all of the porters were really lovely, hardworking and accommodating. The Materuni Director, Ambrose, even set up a WhatsApp group to send our families updates and photos about our climb when we were on the trip.
Thank you Materuni and especially our guides, Emmanuel and Davis for such a great experience!

Worth every penny - We went with Materunitours on Kilimanjaro. It was very great. Very well organized and we had the best guides with us who made the trip funny and helped us succeeding. 10/10 would recommend! The whole team was amazing.
