We recommend tanzania joys tour - We had a great trek with tanzania joys tour.
Our guides Emmanuel (who speaks very good French and this is a big plus) and Francis (who knows everyone and the environment) were at the top, listening, very friendly...
We managed the ascent and it is partly thanks to them 2, the 8 porters and the cook Jacob who regaled us morning noon and evening (we would not starve far from there

Ascent of Kilimanjaro - A sporting but human adventure above all! - The adventure we participated in during 6 days on the Machame route was just exceptional both in the scenery and in the quality of the course not to mention the professionalism of the team (Guided by Dixon and Rama), the meals were just great for this type of environment, as well as for the tents.
An adventure that I recommend to the sportiest of us, yes the final ascent is not for the world.

Kilimanjaro via Machame - Polé polé! - We made the ascent of Kilimanjaro by the Machame in early June.
The team was on top!
Patrick (guide), Michael (assistant guide), Jeremiah (cook) and all the others allowed us to enjoy this adventure and put every chance to get there.
Not having any acclimatization problems, we asked to achieve in 6 days instead of 7.
Preparation
After several comparative researches, we contacted Emmanuel de Tanzania Joy Tours in February to prepare our adventure. The exchanges were fluid and clear. The prices charged in the normal way.
A deposit is required and the balance is paid on site - provide cash $ to avoid 4% overload (common practice in Tanzania).
Food
The food was excellent, varied to keep the appetite and in large quantities.
A hot water thermos was available at each meal for drinks (tea, coffee, chocolate).
Breakfast: a porridge of millet, omelets, sausages, pancakes/bread with peanut butter / jam / etc.
Lunch & dinner: soup, a main course (rice/pasta + vegetables + chicken/fish) and dessert (fresh fruit)
Snack before dinner: popcorn + hot drink
Ascension
The "polé polé" rhythm is given by the guide and his assistant to acclimatize to the altitude. Taking Diamox is not mandatory but recommended.
The porters dismantle, transport to human strength and set up camp to welcome us every step of the way. The last camp is particularly demanding for them because they have to transport water from the previous camp.

Once in a lifetime experience - What an unforgettable experience. Climbing the Kilimanjaro was a wonderful experience thanks to Ringo, Nemence and their team. They were fantastic all along the trip, supporting us and providing a superb experience to make the trip magnificent and fun.
Ringo made sure we had the right equipment for the trip. The entire team (18 people) worked extremely hard every day to make us feel comfortable on the camp. On the trail Ringo and Nemence were amazing guides, providing encouragement and insight at every step.
Every day, Ringo was checking our health condition for making sure we were okay (medical condition/appetite/heart beating/oxygen)
I highly recommend climbing Kilimandjaro Mt with Tanzania Joy tour.

What an amazing experience - So an amazing experience with this local agency to climb the Kilimandjaro. It was initially planed to make it in 7 days by the Machame route but after some days, our chef guide Patrick propose us to make it on 6 days without risk of bad acclimatization and it was successfully ! He is a very professional guide, attentive, with a big knowledge of the mountain. We were also accompagnied by Maiko, also an incredible guide, always here to encourage us, discuss about Tanzania, life, everything. Jeremiah, the cook, made us so good meals during this 6 days. And to finish, a dream team of porters was here to help us, of course to relieve us physically but also with good attentions on the camps and some of them to the top, always in an incredible atmosphere. Nothing would have been possible without this team.
I really recommand this agency if you want to success your climb, in security, with a dream team.

Wonderfull time on Kili! - The trekking part for the first 4 days are not so hard, day 5 is. You face muscle pain, fatigue, cold and darkness. My guide Joseph got me through and made this one of the most amazing things I have ever done. During the trip he and his team took great care of me. They were kind, friendly, funny, supportive and always in a good mood. Food was excellent too!

Ascension Kilimanjaro - I left with 2 friends to climb the Kili in early June via Machame and Tanzania Joys Tours....a guide Kelvin and his assistant Baboon super efficient not to mention his GREAT team....They were all FANTASTIC without their motivations and encouragement without forgetting the good little dishes....I don ́t know if we would have managed.....at the end of this beautiful challenge, we did a safari day at the Tanguire Park as well as a day in the hot springs and waterfall.all with kindness....short but positive.Thanks to all the Tanzania Joys Tours team

Superb!! Via Machame Route in 6 days - We rode Kilimanjaro in May 2022 with Tanzania Joy Tours, via the Machame Road in 6 days. This adventure was superb and everything went perfectly, thanks to our great guide Cosmas (speaking French), our assistant guide Ringo, and the whole team.
Everything went very well thanks to the professionalism of the company and Cosmas, but also thanks to the kindness and attention that all the members of the team paid us.
We highly recommend going with Tanzania Joy Tour via Machame Lane. It is not the easiest way, but it is all the more beautiful.
Thank you again for allowing us to get to the top safely and in such a warm Mood. Thanks again to Cosmas, Ringo and the whole team we trusted and who took us all the way up.

Hakuna matata - An unforgettable trip with strong emotions at the top of Kilimanjaro. Kelvin is an attentive and adaptable guide. The porter team is helpful and always in a good mood when the cook I do not yet understand how he makes excellent meals in these mountain conditions. So I strongly advise this agency which is very responsive when contacted.
