Mount Kilimanjaro - Montane forest is the main attraction and it starts few minutes after crossing the main gate. It is dense forest with a lot of species of plant such as Impatients Kilimanjaro, a flower which is found only at Mount Kilimanjaro. You might also see Blue Monkeys and black and white Colubus Monkeys.
NOTE: Topi Adventure Tours and Safaris will provide lunch which will be included in your payment.
NOTE: It is possible to take a 3 day, 2 night hike of Machame and Marangu routes. This hike is ideal for people who are not able to climb to the summit because it stays below 4000 meters.

MACHAME DAY TRIP
It involves ascending to the initial campsite, Machame camp, at an altitude of 3,000 meters and retracing the path back down on the same day
- A journey spanning about 35 kilometers from Moshi typically lasts between 45 minutes to an hour
- Upon arriving at Machame, completion of the registration process, payment, and acquisition of valid permits is required
- The trek commences from Machame gate situated at 1,800 meters, and the total distance to Machame camp and back is approximately 22 kilometers (11 kilometers one way), with an estimated duration of 4-5 hours for each leg.

Topi adventures... brilliant - I would highly recommend Topi adventures and Safari based in Moshi at the foot of Kilimanjaro. Emanuel, John, and the rest of the team were highly professional in the caring of our safety and wellbeing, so friendly and approachable, they made climbing Kilimanjaro an absolute pleasure... we are hoping to go back next year and embark on a Safari with this great company...Thanks

Great experience - This is a great 1st time experience . It was rainy and cold but fun we had . Our guy is wonderful I had a small problem coming down with my leg and he helped Be all the way . Would definitely recommend this tour company
