Our Northern Lights private tour was unforgettable. - Our Northern Lights private tour was unforgettable. We escaped the crowds thanks to our guide BG driving us to a secluded spot—perfect for aurora hunting. He set up our cameras and snapped professional shots, even helping us with settings. Cozy hot chocolate and warm cinnamon buns added a lovely personal touch. Over a few hours, the sky danced, and BG consistently moved the mini‑bus to chase clearer skies. Small‑group atmosphere, expert guide, stunning lights—truly magical!

fabulous - The first night we went there were no lights to be found with our guide. The second night we had a different guide who would not give up. He was amazing. Highlight of our trip.

"This tour was flawless from beginning to end. - "This tour was flawless from beginning to end. The guide, a professional photographer, assisted us in taking stunning pictures of the Aurora after the vehicle led us to the ideal location for a black sky. We received a collection of sharp images that perfectly encapsulated the night's enchantment. The images made it memorable, and the experience was easy and educational. I'd definitely do it again.

Worth Every Penny. - "I was skeptical at first because the Northern Lights can be hit or miss, but this tour exceeded my expectations. Not only did we get to see the lights dancing across the sky, but the guide also explained the science and folklore behind them, which made the experience even more meaningful. A must-do if you're visiting Iceland in winter."

A Magical Experience. - All expectations were surpassed by this Northern Lights trip! Our guide escorted us to the ideal viewing location away from city lights and was quite informed on the science underlying the auroras. It was quite stunning as the lights swirled in various tones of purple and green across the sky. To keep us warm as we waited, we were also given free hot chocolate. I heartily suggest this tour to anyone travelling to Iceland.

Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Iceland - Absolutely unforgettable! The Northern Lights were breathtaking, and our guide Tom was both knowledgeable and passionate. What made this tour stand out was the professional photography—our guide captured stunning shots we could never have taken ourselves. We didn’t have to worry about adjusting our cameras in the freezing cold and could simply enjoy the view. Transportation was comfortable, and the small group made it feel personal. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Iceland—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and the photos are the perfect keepsake!

Professional, Friendly, and Magical. - “The team was amazing from start to finish—punctual, well-organized, and super friendly. They monitored the weather and drove us to a spot with clear skies where we had an incredible view of the aurora. They also provided hot chocolate and warm blankets, which was a lovely touch.”

Magical Experience Under the Stars. - I can't recommend this Northern Lights tour enough! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and kept us entertained with fascinating stories about Icelandic culture and science behind the auroras. We were lucky enough to see the lights dancing across the sky in vivid green and purple hues—it was truly magical. The small group made the experience feel personal, and the hot chocolate by the fire was a cozy bonus. A must-do if you're visiting Iceland."

Consumers of your product should always be considered - I book a tour through Viator who is contracted that tour to Reykjavík Out. They contacted me May 3rd the day before my planned tour of May 4th and asked due to potential bad weather on the 4th are you available to come out on the 3rd. We rearrange our schedule to do the tour a day early on May 3rd The driver was kind and knowledgeable. Everything that was supposed to be provided was. Unfortunately we were unable to see Northern Lights. The driver told us to reach out to the company to reschedule as there are only two days remaining in the season and then the company would no longer offer that excursion. We reached out both days and due to weather the company did not offer the tour on either day. So I placed a refund request through Viator on May 5th as well as since I was already corresponding with the office about a reschedule date I also let them know I made a refund request. Viator sent an emailing saying they will reach out to Reykjavík out and I as the consumer should hear something within 5 to 7 days. On May 14th I sent an email inquiring about the status of the refund. Every email address to reach Viator has gone undelivered. Every email to Reykjavíkout.is has been received. On May 25th I checked my email looking for correspondence from Reykjavík out there was none but when I checked the Viator App above the excursion for the day I booked it there it says, “Refund Rejected” no reply to the email, no further correspondence of an explanation on why they are entitled to not return my money for an unsuccessful excursion or provide a comparable compensation of credit for a future excursion. So these actions have angered me to why I am writing this review. Be aware of these companies. This could have been handled differently. Customers should not be treated with this disregard when I am spending my hard earned money.
