Delicious lunch and interesting day out. Highly recommended! - We had a full day out for this tour and it was wonderful, we learnt loads about the island and were treated to a delicious lunch plus a tour of the farm when the food had come from. Such a super day would recommend to all. Our children loved it too aged 6, 3 & 1. Joanito was our host and couldn't be faulted. Thank you all at Abel tours for such a great day!

Good day out! - Drive through a desert or rather be driven as there are certainly no signposts, and you eventually arrive at the base of a hill upon which stands the lighthouse. The climb on foot up a cobblestone track is about 300 metres and once up there the views are spectacular. The lighthouse keeper is there, he has a bedroom plus a kitchen area, there is a loo but he asked 1€ for the privilege! He also has various bits for sale such as necklaces. Climb to the top of the lighthouse and if you have a hat, hold onto it. Be warned, the final ascent takes you through a smallish opening onto the area where the light is. From here go to the shell beach which is extraordinary. An area of beach that has 000’s maybe millions of washed up shells amongst which is plastic bottles - a sad indictment of our throw away society. A good day out - take sunscreen!
