- Souss-Massa - Our exploration commences with a trip to Sidi R’bat, situated an hour and 20 minutes to the south of Agadir, where we’ll uncover secluded beaches and sandbars. Make a halt at the fisherman’s hamlet on the untamed shore of Sidi R’bat to possibly observe the fishermen’s caverns. Continue your journey on a sandy path with views of the Atlantic Ocean. Pause briefly at the Oued Massa, a 120 km long river near the Souss-Massa National Park, where, with some luck, you might see migratory birds, including the rare Northern bald ibis. Take a moment to admire the scenic Dam Youssed bin Tachfine. Subsequently, meander through the ancient fortified city of Tiznit and peruse the artisanal Berber silver jewelry on offer. Next, head towards the Atlas mountains for a delectable traditional meal (tajine, couscous, and fresh fruits) in the home of a local Berber family. Post-lunch, you’re free to wander the miniature Sahara dunes and capture memories with your camera.
