2-day tour to Toubkal - We spent two great days in Toubkal National Park, the transport to/from Marrakech worked well. We had a very friendly guide (Youssef) who put a lot of effort into it. The climb to Toubkal was exhausting, but the effort was definitely worth it, we had a wonderful view at sunrise.

Unforgettable Mountain Experience! - What an incredible few days of amazing views, great food and excellent company! We opted for the 3 day hiking excursion up Mount Toubkal through GetYourGuide which I would highly recommend. Our guide, Hassanirmhan, was amazing throughout. He knows the mountains incredibly well, was both professional and friendly, making the whole trip run smoothly. Hassan helped us hire some gear early on which turned out to be essential. As a small group of 6, we were accompanied not only by Hassan but also 2 mules and 2 excellent chefs. The food was delicious and they catered very well for several of us vegetarians. Great taste and generous portions which you need for the hike. Unfortunately, we did not make it to the summit because the winds were too strong when we were high in the mountains on the second day. Although disappointing, this was the right decision. Hassan rearranged our trek to accommodate for the unexpected weather and it was brilliant regardless. A few things I would recommend to bring for the excursion: a microfiber towel, soap, flip flops for the evening, head torch for summit day, gloves, hat, toilet roll, energy bars, electrolytes, sleeping bag, ear plugs, etc. The mules can take a fair amount of luggage whilst you take a day bag which is helpful, but still pack quite light. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience! Matt + Rebekah

Amazing experience - From the begining of out hike - to the very end - everything was perfect ant taken care of: the taxi to Imlil, the guide, the lunch, dinner, the place to sleep with hot shower! early breakfast and lunch after the top… and the top.. guys, you must see it. Though the hike is not very easy, it’s quite steep. One very special person made it all even more perfect - our guide Hussain, who was leading us the way, adapted his pace to ours - one million thank you!

- The trek was an unforgettable experience and achievement. Hassan, our tour guide, knows the mountains like the back of his hand and kept us safe and motivated the whole way through with his excellent guidance and quiet encouragement. Everything was arranged beforehand so we did not have to worry about a thing. The Sunrise at the summit was idyllic. Truly a wonderful journey.

Mount Toubkal - Fun trip, great for experienced walkers - whilst the climb /walk is not that hard, factor in weather, altitude and not that much sleep ! We had a very cold wind (so the right kit is important eg ski gloves as normal walking gloves are not warm enough) take plenty of layers and snacks ! The views were incredible and the mules take all the stuff you need overnight. Everyone was super friendly and it’s a fab adventure.

Atlas Mountain - 1. Hassan was amazing (our guide) 2. The trip could have been better, it was quite disorganized (not our guide’s fault) 3. We paid for private (did group, just book the group it was for the best) 4. This is not an easy hike (8 miles each way, 4,000 ft of climb) (5hrs per day) 5. You’ll make a stop for lunch and one stop for drink. 6. Base camp is at 10,500ft (3500 meters) 7. You start the day at 0930 - arrive by 1130. Start the climb around 1200 and get to base camp around 1700. 8. The next day you summit at 0500 (wakeup 0330) 9. Breakfast after summit 1000 10. Arrive back at beginning at 1800. 11. Taxi/bus pickup is quite disorganized so be prepared for that. 12. If you’re doing this in the winter you need some serious winter gear (rent poles, crampons) you don’t need an ice axe. 13. Overall, absolutely amazing experience but know what you’re walking into.

A great and challenging adventure - Tour was well organised. Food and care throughout was excellent. Not a lot was discussed at the start but everything was well taken care of. Use of the mules for additional baggage was extremely handy and we could leave larger Items at the starting village The guide was very good. He kept the group at a good pace. Pace is fast cause of time restrictions between day and nightlight. The refuge had great food. Beds were comfy. We brought a sleeping bag which I would reccomend in the winter months. November was extremely cold. Good winter wear and gloves necessity. Poles were on offer to rent. I would advise doing this. Crampons were available to rent also Would highly reccomend. But would advise a good level of fitness.

communication problem - We had no communication about the experience, no meeting time and meeting point, until during the night before the trip, 2h before. We were worried this was a scam but finally everything happen and the schedule was good. The guide barely speak english or french so did not know the information on were we go when we eat and stuff, we just need to follow without knowing. The guide was also a bit slow, sometimes we were wondering where is the guide cause we are ready to go. He was super nice to us and we had great partner, everybody summit and it was fun. However communication problem and long waiting makes it not perfect for a guided tour.

Amazing hike and experience, communication needs improving - Firstly, the communication leading up to this trip was not good. No response to messages sent through Viator or what’s app to the tour provider. We managed to find a number the number and phoned and were advised we would get a message on what’s app with pick up details, but this didn’t come until the morning of the trip about 1 hour before pickup, so we were pleasantly surprised to be going. Our guide Yousef really looked after us at all times, he was very accomplished for his age. As it was a private tour he varied the pace to our needs. We summited mount Toubkal and stayed in the refuge overnight, an experience in itself. Cut off from phone signal with home lovely cooked food, sleeping in giant bunk bed with people of all nationalities - a new experience for us. When we were setting off we were advised that we would need to carry everything we needed for the night so could not take sleeping bags, the refuge had blankets, we were worried but there were more than warm enough. The tour is advertised as having a mule to carry your overnight bag to the refuge, and lots of others had this so unsure why we got switched. The hike was incredible and the tour guide yousef was good. The tour company communication needs improvement.
