An unforgettable experience - Morocco always seemed to me to be a distant and inhospitable land, a place I never thought I would get to know. Thanks to Destination Morocco I had the opportunity to take my family to discover ancient landscapes, tour the desert and live the unique experience of camel riding. From day one, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always attentive to every detail. My parents do not speak English and yet the guides did their best to communicate with them and make them feel comfortable. A wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations. A highly recommended tour!

Good Value for the Experience, but Improvements Needed - The overall experience of the tour was worth it for the cost. For the price we paid, we were able to visit different places. Tour guides We had a very good main tour guide, Mohammed Ofkri, who kept us informed about the itinerary and always told us where we were going next. We found him especially helpful when he explained the timing of breaks. We also had other tour guides who gave us useful information about the history of the areas we visited. Things to be mindful of 1. Lunch is not included. This means the tour takes you to a specific restaurant of their choice, where most meals cost around 120 MAD. The food could be improved, as it felt quite expensive for what was offered. Two of the lunches were buffets, which tasted bland and weren’t very traditional (with spaghetti and pasta being served). 2. Hotel accommodation. The hotel room was slightly run down, but it did the job for one night. 3. Desert accommodation. The double bed was very hard, with no option to upgrade. The toilet and shower door did not lock, and the shower had an unpleasant smell of urine.

Great experience with room for improvement - We had a great trip experience visiting lots of different places. We think our tour guide Mohammed ofkri was great and brought the energy. Overall think it was decent value for money and the highlight was definitely being in the desert and seeing all the sand dunes at sunset and sunrise. Quad biking experience was an extra we had to pay for but was well worth it as you get to see more of the sand dunes. Some of the negatives. The food options were not great at all and there was no choice what to eat and food quality was not great. Would be nice to have option to choose especially when we have to pay extra as the lunches were not included but we didn't get a choice where to eat. We were also told don't worry about buying water at supermarket stops as there would be water at the desert camp however we weren't told we would have to pay for this and the after was much more expensive. Toilets and showers were not very clean at all and locks did not work on them. Generally all the activities were really good and there were plenty of stops for toilet breaks and small convenience stores. All the local guides were really good. If they can improve the food and quality of the desert camp accomodation, this could easily be a 5 star trip.
