Embark on a short yet immersive exploration of Fez city in Morocco. With just one night and two days to spend, you’ll be driven for six hours through the royal city of Meknes, with a stopover at the fascinating ancient Roman city, VOLUBILIS. This well-preserved archaeological site that dates back to the 1st and 2nd centuries has been a recognized Unesco World Heritage site since 1997. Further, you’ll head to Fez city and catch panoramic views from the towers of the south and the north fortresses. Your accommodation in a traditional Riad in the medina (old town) will be included in your trip, with the option of a single or double bed. Your English-speaking guide will pick you up the following day for a historical tryst with the city, with visits to the Royal Palace, the Mellah (Jewish quarter) and a gaunt through the Unesco World Heritage-listed ancient medina and Fes El-Bali. Post lunch, prepare for a straight drive back to Marrakech.
