Amazing - We had our tour with Alex yesterday and it was amazing! We avoided all the crowds and saw sting rays, black tip reef sharks, coral, turtles and all sorts of fish!! Definitely recommended :)

Spectacular lagoon cruise with a fantastic guide - Our snorkel cruise with Alex was definitely a highlight of our week in Moorea. As a family of 6 we had the boat to ourselves. He was great about customizing the experience to everyone’s ability and comfort. Snorkeling while getting towed slowly behind the boat was incredible and something we’d never done anywhere else. We saw so many turtles, sharks, sting rays, and beautiful fish and coral. Each stop was unique and we finished the morning with some snacks and drinks. Highly recommended!

A truly magical experience! - The tour with Alex was absolutely incredible! Immediately Alex’s passion for the wildlife comes across and his desire to give the small group a unique tour avoiding the crowds is clear from the outset. We managed to swim with sharks, stingrays, turtles and many many more smaller colourful fish. We finished the trip with a lovey rum punch and chatted as the sunset. It was a trip we will both never forget and you will not regret booking with Alex!

Snorkeling at its best - I cannot say enough good things about our afternoon with Alex. He is friendly, knowledgeable, safety oriented, and just generally a great host and captain. We stopped at four different locations within the lagoon, each place offering a unique experience and underwater visual wonders. This was our first time having ever been towed for snorkeling and it did not disappoint. I would highly recommend Alex Lagoon Tours.

Sharks and rays and turtles oh my! - We went on an amazing lagoon tour with Alex. The group was small (6) which allows for lots of personal attention, no crowds and hits the best spots when no one else is around. Alex is very good with novice to experienced snorkelers, always taking care to do briefings before each spot. He also does a unique “tow snorkel” that covers more ground with little effort. We went to 4 great spots, saw sharks and stingrays at sandbar, eagle rays and turtles on the tow snorkel and two spots with very healthy coral and fish. Alex truly loves the marine life and it shows. We couldn’t recommend this tour more.

Magical experience in Moorea - Today we had our tour with Alex of Alex Lagoon Tours and it was even more amazing than the tour we had with him last year! We swam with stingrays, sharks, sea turtles and did a deeper ocean snorkel, watched a pod of dolphins swim and play in the surf and navigated a beautiful coral garden which were 2 nurse sharks’ hideouts. He is a wonderful guide for all ages and interests in marine life. Thank you, again, for a great adventure with our kids and friends.

Beautiful day on the water - We had a great time on the boat with Alex, consistent with the other reviews on Viator. It was lovely of him to customize the tour based on our swimming ability (2 young kids and my mom who is not a strong swimmer). A note for other travelers staying at the Sofitel, transportation is not provided, so you'll want to rent a car or plan to spend ~$120 round trip for cab fare. Just something to keep in mind when booking!

Best snorkeling tour in Moorea - Best part of our whole trip! Alex was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide. We did another snorkeling tour a few days prior and this was far better. Being able to see so many sea turtles and eagle rays was a bonus. We will book again when we come back!
