You will gather in our reception zone until the signal to join Crusader 1 is given. A precautionary rundown will be disclosed before we depart and venture from the Mooloolaba Bar into the sea in search of Humpback Whales. This endeavour requires collective effort and we appreciate our guests’ involvement in spotting the whales.

Additional Information
Embark on a whale-watching expedition from Mooloolaba to witness humpback whales during their yearly migration between Antarctica and Australia. The 3-hour tour on a 55 ft vessel is restricted to 22 passengers, promising uninterrupted viewing experiences free from large crowds. Not only can you observe the playful antics of the whales in their native environment, but you may also spot dolphins. The knowledgeable and approachable crew imparts comprehensive information about the marine species inhabiting the region, which you get to observe up close.

Above and beyond expectations! - Fantastic experience! Everything well organised with a very friendly and enthusiastic crew. The boat was perfect, seating 22 people comfortably which meant we all had great views and room to move around. I even got to sit on the bow to see the whales close up.
We were so lucky to see a mum and calf and then a pod of 6 males, jumping and thrashing around. This was a dream come true and far exceeded my expectations.
Thanks to all involved. Highly recommended for a quality experience.

Excellent crew. Really... - Excellent crew. Really knowledgeable. Enjoyed to the fullest. The boat was really comfortable. Saw a couple of whales breaching. Loved it. 100% would recommend.

A Terrific Afternoon. - Even if I had not seen and watched two pods of 6-8 whales, the cruise alone was worth every cent. The small group meant we all had plenty of room to move around - we didn't miss a thing. Staff were knowledgabel, friendly and helpful.

Simply wonderful - What an absolutely brilliant experience. The boat is amazing for whale watching, extremely stable and comfortable. The crew were super friendly and knowledgeable, and they obviously love their whales. We saw mums and calves enjoying some well earned rest, and a great display of breaching towards the end of the trip. Having previously been on a whale watching cruise out of Hervey Bay, I can honestly say that this trip was far superior. Highly recommend 10/10

Just a short note to thank you so much for an Amazing Whale Watching Experience !!
The Cavalier Boat is First Class and very comfortable and the Crew are very friendly and helpful too.
Being a Smaller Group size of just 23 passengers max, also made it far more enjoyable and comfortable experience.
We would Highly Recommend the Sunshine Coast Afloat - Cavalier Whale Watching Cruise to anyone. 5 Star Rating from us all the way.

Whales Galore - Awesome experience. Was lucky to come across several whales including few calves. Crew was awesome very helpful with great knowledge. Totally recommend this tour.

These best when only the best will do - 10/10 guys. The only company to see whales with.
Jess knows it all,paddy and jerry are awesome,they have had some great crew. We have lost count how many times we have been out with them in 4 years. It's just awesome,fun and always see whales. We get snacks,info and close encounters. Boat has comfy seats,easy to book online. Perfect

Go for it - Here we are yet again. I’ve lost count how many times we have been out over the last 4 years.
Why? Because this company is the best. Knowledgeable,friendly,great comfy boat,and no crowd for a shorty like me to get stuck behind and see nothing(another raise we first went on and sucked) . Truely appreciate the effort these guys put in ,safety,knowledge and snacks,bests 3 hours out on the ocean and very reasonable cost.
