Amazing way to see Montréal! Greet for the whole family! - So awesome! Michael our tour guide was amazing! He made us feel so comfortable and was so kind! His knowledge of the history of Montreal was appreciated and we learned so much! Can’t recommend this enough! If you come to Montréal take the time for this tour! Be sure to book at the beginning of your trip so u have time to see all the amazing sites you learn about on the tour! Thank you Emerson and Micheal for a great family day!!

Fantastic Tour! - We had the best time with Emerson during our Throwback Tour of Old Montreal! He is fun, knowledgeable, and personable! My husband and I, along with my mother-in-law (nicknamed Connie J. on the tour, you know what I’m talking about, Emerson) and her friend, spent an enjoyable hour+ with Emerson touring Old Montreal. The day and time we had originally scheduled to go on the tour was iffy due to the weather, and Emerson was super flexible and communicative about working us in when it would be sunny/nice. He made sure to hit the highlights regarding the history and culture of the old city, and entertained us with personal and local stories. Our time with him ended all too soon. I can’t recommend Emerson and Throwback Tour enough. You won’t be sorry!! Trust me—you will laugh, you will cry (be moved), and you won’t get hurt at all! :)

Excellent tour guide and... - Excellent tour guide and memorable vehicle. Perfect rendezvous on a sunny day. The tour guide was funny and smart.

Not very comfortable! - A few points you should know before booking ... we did the three hour tour - way too long! Not enough sights to see. Stick to just one hour. But another good reason to do just an hour is ... the car we were in was NOT comfortable. Yes, it's old - we understood that, but the car's seat padding needed to be refurbished, it was just too worn down and thin. It was apparent at least in our case, that the exterior looked well taken care of but the interior really needed some help and the car needed a full tune-up; not sure how safe it was! Its also good to remember that the seats don't adjust so the only roomy seat for someone with long legs, is up front. And definitely don't try to cram 4-5 people in the car - really uncomfortable. I suggest just 3; meaning only two in the back, otherwise you are in for a rough ride. We really liked the idea of touring in a vintage car, but the reality wasn’t that great. Our guide was really interested in promoting his favorite restaurants and was very opinionated rather than just telling us the story of the city. Didn’t appreciate his swearing either. Overall it was OK, but definitely don’t go for more than a hour!
