New! - Place that recently opened in Montreal (2023). The glass tower is in a completely rehabilitated area of the port with a beautiful garden and also the letters Bonjour Montreal allowing to make nice photos. The tower itself offers a beautiful view of the city. Small glass cage allowing to walk on glass floor for some small sensations! The place is very modern with Interactive Things to do. We appreciated the architecture and the view as well as the kindness of the staff. Nearby small building that makes discover navigation in a very fun way especially for children. Discover!

Nice view but expensive - Beautiful glass tower with surprising views given its relatively low height. Few people there on a Saturday afternoon I guess because of the price which was $17. Really think this should be cheaper like maybe $10 or less because tourists are gouged in every single way. The upside is you may have the whole place to yourself.

Play date fun location - Very fun and interactive with children! This activity costs way less as the glass cage mimics the Chicago tower.

Great sight - A very quirky building at the end of the Grand Quay. It looks very imposing and great views form the top but apparently it only opens on weekends!

Modern building - We wanted to go to the observation tower but unfortunately the building was closed due to some corporate event. It has nice area around with plenty benches and flowers and grassy patches. At the fence towards it are information panels about the history of Montreal and canal.

SEEING MONTRÉAL FROM ANOTHER ANGLE - I’ve been living in Montréal for almost 20 years now. There’s always something to explore. This place, for example. The promise is to see another angle of the city of Montreal from 65 metres high. So I went there few days ago (the end of May) right after work, taking advantage of a sunny day (raining every day this Spring 🥲). My action actually was inspired by Goldcoast SkyPoint Visit on my vacation to Australia last March. I found some differences between Towers in Goldcoast and here in Montreal the second I arrived in front of the Port of Montreal Tower. Btw, they closed 😶. Goldcoast Tower: Open everyday all along the year; Start at 7:00 am; you could eat up there where there are even some restaurants/cafes so you can enjoy the view while eating. Montreal Tower (from what I learned on their website): Open every day only SUMMER (somedays in March as well). During Spring & Fall they open on Saturday-Sunday only. I think because we have serious long Winter or Winter alike seasons 😝; when open, start at 12:00 (WHY???); you’re not allowed to bring foods/drinks-no cafe/resto/food stall found in the tower. Because Canadians litter? Well, maybe. Being disappointed, I decided to explore the platform. There you go!!! I got what I imagined. The view from up there is so stunning. There’s BONJOUR MONTREAL sign to play tourist by taking pictures 😂. Only evening is not a perfect timing, better morning or noon. So yeah … I ended up exploring the GRAND QUAY. Nice switching, tho. Took few interesting pictures, better then nothing, right? 😉 I still am obsessed to get to the glass cage up there.
