The ‘Paranormal Investigation – Old Sainte Antoine Cemetery’ event, led by expert ghost-hunter Dominique Desormeaux from 13 Spirits Paranormal and hosted by Haunted Montreal, offers guests an intriguing journey into the enigmatic world of paranormal investigation.
Between 1799-1855, it is estimated that Sainte Antoine Cemetery was the final resting place of about 70,000 individuals. Many were laid to rest in common graves due to the Cholera outbreaks that engulfed the city.
Nowadays, the ancient graveyard exists below two of Montreal’s most iconic and frequented urban parks – Dorchester Square and Place du Canada. Both areas are renowned for their paranormal occurrences and are a central hub for supernatural happenings in Downtown Montreal.
