- Tour operates rain or shine or snow and is mostly outside. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions and have proper winter attire for wintertime tours.

A perfect introduction to Montreal old city - We did a beautiful two hour walking tour this morning with Sylvia. She gave us an excellent overview of old Montreal. I highly recommend this tour. We are first time visitors from California.

Absolutely a must ! - Isabelle was our tour guide. Friendly, knowledgeable and full of energy. 2 hour tour that was interesting the entire time. I would absolutely recommend this tour to provide you with a great overview of the history of Montreal and spots of intetest.

The tour added greatly to our stay in Montreal. - In depth history of stops visited. Ten person limit is the only way to go. Experienced and well educated guide to go with a wonderful personality. Loved the way she engaged individuals in the group.

Not the Tour Type? - Thought we could walk around and figure things out on our own. Not the “tour” type. Was I ever wrong. We saw and learned things we would never have known about in our own. And, the guide’s storytelling made it memorable. Highly recommend.

An overview of old Montreal - This tour had some cultural and historical context about Montreal, and some pointing out of some heritage buildings and their architectural features. The story was simplified to French and English colonization, but it would have been interesting to hear more about the diversity of francophone and anglophone cultures (then and now). There were some ties made between the buildings and the history (banks run by the English-speakers), but it would have been helpful to hear about other ways the specific area changed. The visual binder was helpful to illustrate historical changes as the city anglicized and then had a francophone renascence. The tour helped me appreciate the old Montreal neighborhood more than if I had wandered through on my own. The guide Martin was solicitous and made sure to offer bio-breaks and give us a chance to get out of the chilly weather. I appreciated his local’s perspective. The suggestions at the end of the tour for things to see and do were helpful.
