A great overview of the city from a warm bus - A very knowledgeable guide led our tour providing interesting and relevant information about the Old Montreal, Downtown and Plateau. We saw all of the major landmarks allowing us to have a reference point to return to. The bus was clean and modern and very comfortable.

Great 3 hour tour! - It was a great 3 hour trip during which we got a great overview of the city. Our tour guide, Andre, was funny and entertaining and very knowledgable. Highly recommend for an overview of Montreal when you don't have a lot of time (we were only there for a couple of days.)

Confusing Ticketing Process. Beware! - I booked online & received what I thought was a barcode ticket to show to the driver, much like booking any bus journey. I presented my phone to the driver who told me I needed a paper ticket & should go to the Gray Line ticket office. I did so and was told by the ticketing clerk that she had my details & I didn't need a ticket. I walked back to the bus & told the Gray Line receptionist what I had been told. He didn't believe me & called the office to check my story. He was told by the person in the office that I was correct & he apologised to me. On boarding the bus the driver asked me for my paper ticket! I am an ancient person and can do without an unnecessary walk & 3 Gray Line personnel telling me different stories. In addition, there is nothing on their website to explain the requirement & process of converting your eticket to a paper one. The tour itself was fantastic and André's in-depth knowledge of his home city was wonderfully interesting.

Snow day - So it snowed in Montreal that morning there were certain parts of the tour that were not accessible as roads were closed. There was also a funeral for a former prime minister of Canada occurring in old Montreal so that part of the tour was also skipped. Not to the fault of the tour guide for sure who was excellent and funny and knowledgeable. I think it was just an unfortunate day for a tour. I would try this company again under different circumstances.

Average - It’s a good trip to get the layout of the city but after the first couple of stops they really run out of interesting things to say and you spend a long time on the coach just heading for the Olympic park and some run down areas Our guide was ok but the driver continually interrupted and took over His joke about Murder rates in the city was in poor taste He said we had on last week so your safe to walk around for the next three weeks . You don’t want murder jokes on a tour as I say you do get a good idea of the city bu5 at only one stop do you get guide commentary the rest is mostly driver rambling telling not funny jokes One final point I know this is a French speaking city and the arrival of the British was not welcome but if your a guide giving historical information you need to understand where people come from French came from France English came from England Scots came from Scotland You don’t say British and Scottish settled here . British is the combination of the home nations someone who is Scottish is also British It’s correct to say the English and Scottish settled here
