A must see - need to edit my previous post. I neglected to check my email which all the directions were listed. Communications with the tour guide excellent. I missed the audio version of the tour because I did not open the appropriate link for from his email. The tour is absolutely beautiful, very well preserved old town Montgomery, Alabama. The walking tour reveals a lot of American history in the flight for civil rights for our brothers. The bravery of Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King, and so many others is evident in this tour. It is a messy if you are in Montgomery. After you purchase the tour, please check your email!

Great Summary of civil rughts in montgomery - this was a great look.at the history of civil rights. What a role Montgomery played! The only complication was that a bad storm came up and we had to delay to the next day. TheViator app would not give me access ... they sharef walkntours phone number and i quickly got access. Viator reps need to be aware this tour has indefinite access.

Great way to see the sights on your own - What a great way to see the top spots on your own. App was easy to use and had clear instructions. It knew right where I was on the route and pointed out all the important spots. Only thing I would recommend is that your phone has a full charge, the GPS really drained my iPhone battery.

What a great introduction to the history of downtown Montgomery! - This was really great. An on-your-own walking tour of several key historic landmarks in beautiful Montgomery. I was just passing through town but wanted to get a little taste of the important events and locations in Montgomery. The tour was perfect! It's at your own pace (takes about an hour), provides clear directions and good content. Highly Recommended!!

Flexible, knowledgeable guidance. Very much worth the minimal cost. - Not sure if I already wrote a review of this, but in case I didn't, I definitely recommend this. It was clear, easy to follow, easy to pause while I explored the various museums and locations. I learned a lot during the day I spent following this tour around Montgomery. You can take as long or as short as you want. I went on one of the hottest weekend days of the year. Downtown was deserted. The heat was tough, but the walk around town was worth it, and I wouldn't really have known where to go or what to do if I'd been making it up on my own. My experience with the walking tour was good enough that I bought the Selma one for the next day and did that one too.

Montgomery 1/1/24 - We went New Years Day. The street were virtually empty! Felt like we had all of Montgomery to ourselves! Tour was informative, good pace, she spoke clearly, etc.

Good addition to the area. - Good walking tour. Not a difficult walk if you are in any kind of shape. Definitely makes the area come to life. It would not have had the impact walking the path without the narration and sounds. Note: there is one part where police sirens go off in the audio….don’t freak out like I did. :)

Check your email after purchase - We were unable to locate the link in the email. We ended up walking a tour, parts of the tour on our own. We never got a chance to listen to the audio. The walk was still beautiful and fascinating and reading. All the signage was useful, but just a little mad at myself that I did not find the links in the email sooner
