Outstanding bird tour - Roy went out fo his way to make our morning a memorable one. - This was one of the very best tours we have had - not just for the value but for the quality of our guide. Roy was an exceptional and flexible guide who made every effort to make our experience a memorable one. He contacted us a few days before, and on hearing our desire to see Quetzals he suggested switching from Curi-Cancha to the Monteverde Biological Reserve. He met us as arranged, and proceeded to be with us for 4 hours, far exceeding the expected duration of the tour. He quickly learnt the names of both our children, and went out of his way to help them individually spot birds, monkeys and other animals. I would book a tour with Roy again in a flash - and cannot recommend him highly enough.

Best Birdwatching Experience - This Curi Cancha birding tour is nothing short of amazing. You will get the chance to see over 50 species of birds, including toucans, trogons, and even quetzals. The guide, Roy, is very knowledgeable and experienced, spotting birds far away and hidden in trees. His spotting scope is perfect for looking at birds close-up, and he knows which trails are known for having which birds.

Awesome tour! - Roy was a terrific guide and his English was excellent. He was super enthusiastic, helped us take pictures on our phones of birds through his scope, and knew a lot about the wildlife on the reserve (birds, amphibians, flora)! Highly recommend taking an early morning tour.

Enjoyable & Memorable experience - Roy came on time. He gave a lot of interesting facts about birds. He was enthusiastic. Quetzal spotting was a cherry on the top. He took excellent videos on our phone. It was our first time and 100% we wouldn’t have spotted any bird without a guide.

Incredible Birds! - Our guide was great, making sure we saw important and beautiful birds like the Keal Billed Toucan and the Radiant Quetzal! I did find the company somewhat difficult to contact and the process for locating our guide was a little chaotic. It would be good to have a description of the guide (or maybe he could wear a distinctive hat), so that the beginning of the tour would be less stressful. (There are quite a few guides named "Roy".)

Great bird watching experience - Beautiful location for bird watching. We really enjoyed our privately guided tour. To get the most from this experience a knowledgeable guide is essential. Our private tour guide, Clarissa Sanchez (IG: chlorospingustours), who was booked through our Kensington Travel agency, is just a terrific naturalist. Her enthusiasm and scope of knowledge is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her in Curi-Cancha.
