Top class Monteverde - Tour - “Johnatan is a great guide. He advised us very well when choosing the package. We opted for a full-day tour in Monteverde, including a visit to the cloud forest and a night tour. The price was also very reasonable for a private tour. Johnatan was proactive in securing tickets for the cloud forest early in the morning, which saved us from waiting in long lines or missing out on entry. He has excellent connections with other guides as well. He shares tips with them and readily receives information about wildlife sightings, ensuring that he leads us to interesting spots safely. One remarkable ability of Johnatan fascinated us: he can mimic bird calls exceptionally well. This skill allowed him to attract or engage birds uniquely, enabling us to observe them peacefully and capture great photos. As someone who enjoys photography, he empathizes with photographers and provides valuable tips. Best Guide - The best guide for the whole holiday 😊 Saw toucans and even the quetzal as well as many other animals. He was very enthusiastic and was able to impart a lot of knowledge. I was able to take very good pictures.

We were lucky to see the Quetzal - We did the tour of two visits: CuriCancha and Monteverde. We were lucky enough to see many animals and the wonderful Quetzal on several occasions thanks to Jonatan, who looked after us all day and explained everything we saw. Super recommended!

Quetzal dream sighting came true :) - My husband & I actually booked 2 tours with Jonatan. The night tour in Santa Elena & the morning tour in the Curi Cancha Reserve. We were very happy because we had both tours with him privately & got to see all the amazing animals both forests have to offer. I really wanted to see the gorgeous Quetzal & thought that the Cloud Forest would be the best place to see it. But Jonatan suggested the Curi Cancha Reserve instead & he was right! Great tour with many animal sightings - The tour with Jonathan was great, as he is a very knowledgeable and fun guide who knows his way around the reserves. We could see a great amount of regional animals, from small to large, like insects, birds, reptiles and even mammals and learn a lot about their behavior as well as interesting information about the local flora. He really takes his time to have you take the best possible pictures and answers all of your questions and with his telescope you won‘t miss a thing. Also his English is excellent!
