Fun! - Jason was knowledgeable and we saw lots of birds! I got a private tour and he helped me take photos of the birds. Would recommend!

It was an awesome... - It was an awesome experience, Jason is great and very knowledgeable about animals and plants ! We saw lots of animals. Birds, coati, snake , spider. Observed tikan going in and out of the nest. Highly recommended!

Great experience! - The tour was really nice and we were really lucky in spotting lots of birds. At the beginning I thought it would have been better to go without a guide, but he spotted so many birds hidden in the canopy that I was really glad we booked the tour in the end. Besides lots of tukans and kolibris and other local birds we even saw three quetzals, which are really hard to find without a guide knowing where to look. Jason is a really experienced guide and I would recommend him to anyone wanting to do bridwatching in Monteverde.

Excellent morning in Curi-Cancha - An excellent 4 hours being guided round the Curi-Cancha reserve by Jason. Saw Quetzels and many other species too numerous to mention. Jason was an enthusiastic and friendly guide who shared his deep knowledge of the forest.

What an incredible 4 hours learning about the fauna in Monteverde, and the highlight of the trip when we had the privilege to see the male and female Quetzal up close!!! Best birding tour of my life - Jason was the best birding guide I have ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a true love of nature. He is super friendly and a pleasure to bird with. He also has wonderful english.

unforgettable and perfect - Great! Jason made my birdwatching day unforgettable and perfect. I enjoyed watching small birds, but also insects, spiders, and plants from really early in the morning. My two week trip to Costa Rica was worth it just for the hours I spent with Jason, as I was fortunate enough to observe a quetzal for quite a while :-) always grateful!

Extraordinary bird sighting and learning experience. - The tour with Jason and the way he was able to hear a bird and then find it in his scope. We were able to learn about the park’s habitat and how important it is to preserve the environmental ecosystems to allow birds and others living in the parks to survive.

A productive morning. - Although the title is Monteverde Birdwatching Experience, the walk takes place in Curi-Cancha and not the Monteverde cloud forest reserve. Apparently that increases bird sightings because you don't have the dense forest, but it significantly reduces your odds of seeing the quetzal. I saw 38 birds. Guide didn't use the telescope much, but instead relied on everyone using/sharing binoculars and pointing "look over there."
