Great attraction for kids - Great for kids elementary school age. The employees were super nice, warm and welcoming. The only thing is adults have to accompany little kids in every ride, and our kids could've taken the ride all day, so be prepared and patient, parents!

Treasure Hunt the Ride delivers the goods. - This ride and the accompanying shooting galleries are over the top in creativity, craftsmanship, quality and fun. The developers of the ride, Daniels Woodland, from nearby Paso Robles are top-notch developers of animatronics and whimsical sets, forts, playgrounds, and of course, interactive shooting galleries. I was blown away. The story about the Monterey pirates is fun and the ride is exciting, similar to rides at Universal Studios or Busch Gardens.

Treasure Hunt -the ride is fantastic! - This ride is so amazing and so well done that it should be in Disneyland. So many details to see that it’s impossible to see it all in just one ride. The introduction part of the ride “going down to the cave” was a lot of fun also. My daughter and I rode it four times and we could have gone on it more. We had a lot of fun and are looking forward to doing this again soon! I highly recommend Treasure Hunt when you’re in the Monterey area.

Fun family time - What a fun family activity! If you love theme parks - like we do - this is an amazing ride that you'd typically find in a theme park, but it's all on its own. The ride tells a fun story about possibly finding treasure in Monterey, CA that had been left -or lost - by a real pirate in the city's history. From there you ride on cool cars, with interactive "collectors" to both defend yourself from pirate skeletons and to collect points for treasure. There are also great targets the move, shake, react and even spray, at all angles so you never quite know what is next. My son beat me each time by huge numbers, but I also watched more than I played. Everything is so detailed! We rode and then re-rode again as Treasure Hunt offers a discount for re-ride. The ride is entirely indoors and the full experience is about 20 minutes. It's the way to break up a day of tourist activities and definitely a great family experience. We can't wait to go back.

Hooked on Pirate Adventure! - Wow, let me tell you about this incredible gem called Treasure Hunt: The Ride! Seriously, it's like stepping into a whole new world of excitement and adventure. It's no exaggeration to say that it rivals those big amusement parks like Disneyland and Universal Studios. Picture this: you're at Cannery Row, and suddenly you discover that Monterey has its very own pirate history! How cool is that? The ride doesn't waste any time getting you hooked. Right from the start, you head downstairs and board the "elevator" that takes you down to the caverns. Theres a whole show JUST IN THE ELEVATOR! After the elevator, you wander through the caverns a short way and then board the cavern car and embark on the ride with treasure collectors. You aim at all sorts of targets. Each time I rode, I found new targets!!! And oh boy, the characters! Molina and Don Pedro, the animatronic duo, are so incredibly lifelike. You'll do a double-take, I promise. The attention to detail in the scenic work is mind-blowing. It's like being inside a massive, realistic cave. I found myself riding it multiple times just to soak in the immersive experience. (and come to find out, re-ride tickets are half off!) But here's the real kicker: it's not just a ride, my friend. It's a whole show and a game rolled into one. It's like they packed all the best elements of entertainment into this one attraction. It's truly amazing. And hey, make sure you go for the power-up token. Trust me, it's the secret sauce to scoring big. I did it with and without the power up token and the extra $5.00 is sooo worth the bragging rights when you get the high score) Now, let's talk fun. Treasure Hunt: The Ride is exactly what Cannery Row needed to make a perfect day complete. I went with a group of girlfriends and had good ol' fashioned fun that I know families and other friend groups...even solo riders...would enjoy! Listen, my friend, you can't miss out on Treasure Hunt: The Ride. It's an absolute must-visit. You'll laugh, you'll cheer, and you'll want to ride again and again. It's the kind of adventure that brings out the kid in all of us.

A spectacular, interactive ride in the form of a breathtaking pirate adventure! We rode it 3 times! - This is a spectacular attraction… felt like I was at a major amusement park! This ride sets a new standard for what a pirate adventure should be. I never knew Monterey has its own pirate history… that’s really cool. The pre-show elevator drop was very realistic, entertaining and funny. The animatronic Molina and Don Pedro were very lifelike. The scenic work made it feel like a huge, realistic cave. We rode it a few times and I won the highest score… definitely go for the power up token. This ride is great family entertainment and just what Cannery Row needed to make a great day complete. Will definitely be taking my family on this ride every time we go to Cannery Row!
