Chris's whale watching - We had a wonderful trip on the Star of Monterey. The weather was beautiful, and the crew was great. We saw many whales and dolphins.

Great day whale watching! - We had a great time and got quite close to humpbacks, orcas, seas and otters. It was a great way to see the marine life at Monterey!

Amazing sea life - Amazing tour, we saw grey and humpback whales, pelicans, sea lions and otters. The small boat allows for a more up close and personal tour but I’d recommend taking a sea sickness tablet prior as the sea was quite rough that day and some people were sick. We had taken a tablet prior and felt absolutely fine. Would definitely recommend

Whale of a time! - An amazing trip where we spotted grey whales, along with dolphin, seals and sea otters! Wrap up warm as it can get cold on the boat.

Fantastic Day on the Water with Whales!!! - Chris's whale watching trip was great! The crew made sure we saw whales! There were humpback and grey whales. We also saw a pod of dolphin. There were pelicans and otters, as well as many varieties of seabirds. It was a great day! I highly reccomend Chris's. Super nice people and very chill.

Whale watching with Chris’ Tours - Amazing trip. Seen the whales and a great experience all around. The ocean was a bit rough so be prepared for that but the deckhand was helping those that felt a bit rough.

A successful trip - A very nice trip, we saw sea otters, a large school of dolphins and a gray whale. The captain and guide were very pleasant and competent.

Oooo looooookkkkkk - Loads of sea life was active. Wonderful views of the coast. It was one hour up the coast and waters were choppy Seals Albatross Dolphins and of course whales. Dont recommend it for young children they were miserable and leaning over the rail feeding the fish.

Lots of Whales/Dolphins/Sea Lions - The trip out to the whales was a bit rough, but the captain found multiple groups of whales that were very active. HIs narrative about the whales size, birthing and diving habits was interesting but very difficult to hear and understand. Inside seating was comfortable but difficult to see anything outside due to weathered yellowed windows. Outside seating was limited and uncomfortable so we stood for most of the trip.

The boat is very small, and the owner drove very fast. A few people threw up. - The boat is too small, and the captain drove too fast. There were a few people threw up. They should either slow down, or upgrade the ship
