Urban Bikery is honoring its esteemed location by coordinating an entirely eco-friendly wine tour in a unique style. Our journey will lead us on ebikes to explore the finest Rosso and Nobile di Montepulciano wine cellars. Our partners include Boscarelli, Canneto, Molinaccio, Salcheto, and others. Depending on availability, we will secure reservations at two of these selected wineries for a visit and tasting session. The planned arrival time at the showroom is 10:30, though this could vary based on cellar availability or the customer’s request.
P.s.: A certain number of days before the tour, we will touch base with you to provide all the necessary details, confirm the departure time, and discuss lunch options.

The only way you should tour the region - This turned out to be one of my favourite activities of my entire Italy trip. I didn’t read the information correctly when booking and wasn’t expecting this to be self directed and self paced. But this was a blessing in disguise as it allowed me to stop at the most breathtaking views (there were alot!) and go at my own pace. The introduction to the e bikes was excellent, with helmets and backpacks available. Terrific off road e bikes with 4 assistance levels that made going up hills tolerable! The entire route is provided and uses your phone (make sure you pack a portable charger). Two winery bookings are made for you- you just need to follow the path to get there. Live assistance was available throughout the day, making you feel safe and supported, even when doing this solo. Consider booking directly through Urban Bikery for a better deal.

Amazing Bike Tour - My wife and I came to Tuscany for an anniversary trip and our number one highlight was the Urban Bikery Tour. Enrico set up visits to two different wineries and within minutes had us set up with the bikes and directions. The bikes are very high quality and would allow riders of any ability to navigate the beautiful route. Tuscany is very hilly and the final climb back into town was intimidating but these bikes handled the grade and we had to use very little effort. Beautiful area, amazing bikes, great service, and all very eaasy. Would recommend for anyone.

Nice day in the Tuscany countryside. - This is a good adventure. We road to the second winery which was the best one. The scenery is beautiful once you reach the countryside. My wife, unfortunately is not a strong bike rider, so she had trouble finishing the ride. Be aware of this before signing up. Stronger riders shouldn’t have any trouble. The operator was very kind, coming out to pick us up.

Amazing day! - Loved this so much! Favorite activity of the trip. Loved that is was self paced and self guided. Everyone at the bike shop was so helpful in getting us set up for our adventurous day. The winery reservations were made for us so it was easy to make our wine stops along the route. Views while biking were unbeatable! Can’t wait to go back and do it again!

Best Day in Montepulciano - Ebiking around Montepulciano was an amazing way to get off the beaten path. We visited two wineries and the staff had arranged for us to stop at a small restaurant along the way. The wine was amazing, but the lunch was really the highlight. Served at a very small local place owned by the same family for years. Tremendous meal and interaction with the owner even given the language barrier.
I will say that if you are not comfortable on a bike, I'd book this tour with the guide just to help you navigate and be comfortable. The maps built on Google maps were great, but we did have to stop a few times to orient ourselves. Also know that many of the roads are gravel/dirt and you'll need to be prepared to navigate ruts and pot holes. Not hard, but you do need to pay attention. A small thing to manage for the luxury of being off the beaten path.
The bikes themselves were great. Great tires for the terrain and enough power to make all the hills very comfortable.

Fantastic Customer Service and Stellar Experience! - I did the bike tour with a group of women at a girls getaway with The Debbie Travis group. It was a blast! The guys in the shop were terrific, patient with fitting the bikes to all of us, making sure we were confident and comfortable before heading out. We took lots of photo op stops and the wine experience was unbelievable! The customer service for this group is 5 STAR too. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a fun experience that's memorable!

Amazing - The tour guide was in contact with me a few days before our scheduled activity. We arrived to the bike rental place and were greeted with our full bike and equipment and given instructions and a “trial class” on proper use of E-Bikes. Our guide came with us to both wineries and the scenery was just amazing. Rolling hills, small bed-and-breakfasts, wineries, mountains with endless vines… it was out of a movie set. Both of our wine tasting experiences were fenomenal. Our guide was Pierre and he was outstanding. We had a wonderful day and it was worth every penny.

Fabulous owner! - The owner was simply amazing. One of the most friendly, helpful, kind individuals I have ever met. When we were a bit nervous leaving town, he got on his bike and personally guided us down from the beautiful hilltop town.

Great ride - great shop - great guys! - The trip was a great experience all around!
The guys at the shop - Giorgio and Michael - were fantastic.
The shop itself was really cool too - cool jewelry, shirts, jackets, etc.
The bikes were very current models, with everything needed for the ride.
No problem with battery life or power throughout the entire ride
The ride - very fun, great views - a really nice way to see the countryside.
Aside from one short area of roadway, the majority of the trip was on either gravel trails - as seen in the pictures - or very quiet roads (like 'no cars at all' roads)
The trip utilizes your google maps GPS functionality which the guys set up for you and works great - but here is a tip - if you have a small external phone battery, bring it. My battery was almost dead by the time we returned to the shop!
I would highly recommend.
