A must do activity in Montepulciano. - We made gnocchi, pasta and tiramisu our instructor Barbara was wonderful, and made us feel very comfortable in her home. Great experience I highly recommend it. We learned a lot about the Italian culture.

Great Family Expereince! - Great experience for our family. We had parent and two teen boys, such a great experience and got to meet another couple that was traveling to Italy also. Food was amazing, instruction was wonderful, so much fun!

Wonderful experience! - Friends and I attended Barbara’s cooking class in her home on a recent trip to Italy. What a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, Barbara was friendly, gracious and funny, and put you immediately at ease. We learned to make pici hand rolled pasta (the local specialty) with spring vegetable ragu, gnocchi with Gorgonzola cream sauce, and tiramisu. We happily assed the morning learning techniques and tips. This was one of my favorite activities of my trip to Italy. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing experience - We had a great time with Barbara in her beautiful home. She was so welcoming and friendly, and taught us things we can bring back to our own kitchen. The food was amazing - we’d 100% recommend!

Amazing on every level! - If there was a scale of 1-100 we would give her 1,000. Amazing time! Our host Barbara welcomed us into her beautiful home and helped us create one of the best meals ever. Would highly recommend as she is the best!!!

Book this class, don’t hesitate!! - We enjoyed such a memorable time with our hostess/chef Barbara! She was warm, funny, patient and so very welcoming. The food blew us away…we can’t believe that we actually helped to make food that was so delicious and had fun doing it. Best of all, we are bringing home skills that we are confident to use for future family and friends gatherings!

Amazing Experience Cooking in Tuscany - This was a highlight of our 2 weeks in Italy. What a special experience. We were invited into Barbara's home for a delightful morning of cooking and wine. The interaction and food were divine! With the information provided by our host, we are home and at work recreating the regional dishes we learned. My husband and I do a lot of cooking and were thrilled to be inspired with such interesting and special recipes. Barbara went above and beyond to describe many other Italian recipes and gave us written directions for several dishes. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Great Experience and Host! - This was one of the highlights of our trip. We made Pici pasta, potato gnocchi, 2 different sauces and tiramisu. Barbara was an EXCELLENT host. She is extremely personable and made us feel welcome in her kitchen and home. Booking company sent online questionnaire to make sure we were matched with a host based on fluency in Italian (in which we were not), location of our lodging, and distance we were willing to travel. This ensures a good match to the host. Best part of the day was eating what we cooked over a bottle of Rosso do Montepulciano and talking to Barbara throughout the food preparation and lunch about Italian customs and culture.
