Get a taste of REAL Jamaican food prepared by everyday Jamaicans, eat like a local.
Our journey starts with a morning pickup. Drive in air conditioned comfort into the heart of the city of Montego Bay. Locals are known to ‘mek fashion’ with whatever food is in season, so your first meal could be anywhere between some brownstew chicken, ackee (when in season) & saltfish, patties or a cup of peanut porridge. There will be brief interludes between the food stops where we discuss the history of the food, it’s current relevance in our society and the ingredients/ process we use to cook. We continue driving and eating with stops along the way for sampling of traditional foods, such as jerk chicken, festivals, rice & peas and whatever else is being fared at the local hotspots.
Hotel pickups from Falmouth or Lucea is also available, select the appropriate pickup area when booking. Length of tour is longer for hotels outside of Montego Bay.

It was really cool. Das is awesome! - We drove all around the neighborhoods of Montego Bay, and sampled all the foods the culture had to offer. 10/10

Worthwhile experience! - We had an awesome time! This tour was exactly what we were looking for. Das, our private guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and showed us the typical (delicious) daily Jamaican cuisine. We sampled so many different delicious foods, and got a gorgeous view of both the city and the suburbs. Although it seems expensive upfront, everything the trip includes makes it more than worth it.

Must see Foodie Tour in Montego Bay, Jamaica! - Das was one of the best guides I have had on any tour ever. He was so knowledgeable about all the food and the local culture. He had an answer for every question I had, and knew all the best spots for authentic Jamaican cuisine. 10/10 this is a must do while in Montego Bay!

Montego Bay Tour with Das! - Das provided a great tour for our40th wedding anniversary. We ate where the local eat and saw where the locals lived. He provided a very good Jamaican cultural experience, including history, present, and future developments. He gave us his personal attention and provided excellent product service. If you’re looking for an outstanding cultural experience while in Montego Bay, this is the one with you. Make sure to ask for Das! You won’t be disappointed.

Tour with Das!!! - My wife and I have taken many food and cultural tours over the years. This one was a gift from our kids for our 40th wedding anniversary. Das gave us the best tour of this type we ever had! He’s professional, prompt, and so knowledgeable about Montego Bay and Jamaica. He answered all of our questions, and provided more than enough information. The local food was excellent, the sightseeing was on point, and the cultural immersion was fantastic. We also had no problems on this trip and felt very safe the whole time. Highly recommend him and this your!

Must taste while in Montego Bay - Das was a fantastic tour guide. He catered to our preferences and treated us like good friends. We really enjoyed the food he picked out, beef patties, coconuts, and soup, as well as sugar cane and jerk chicken and pork. Definitely recommend to see the sites and taste the food of Montego Bay.

Book this delicious tour! - Das provided a wonderful experience at the Foodie tour. He was responsive, professional and made us feel at home right away. The food on the tour was incredible, far better than we would get on our own without the local knowledge. We had enough leftover after the tour for two more meals! I appreciated the way he infused a cultural tour and showed us parts of the community that tourists wouldn’t typically go. I highly recommend booking this tour with Das!
Bonus - we mentioned we were headed to the airport and he set us up with his lovely mother in law, Georgia (who is another licensed guide) to drive us. She was delightful and so kind!

An absolute must for foodies! - The tour is amazing. So much food. You WILL get full! If you’re so lucky to get Mama G you’ll eat a lot, see a lot and learn a lot! Make this one of your excursions in Jamaica!

Amazing foodie tour - Das was very knowledgeable and informative. He made us feel welcomed and comfortable as soon as we began the tour. He gave us an amazing tour, and the food we ate was phenomenal..I enjoyed the real authentic Jamaican cuisine. Definitely recommend booking this as part of your trip, you won’t regret it!
