Highlights
  • Rose Hall Great House - This Rose Hall Great House is an early 18th century plantation home that sits on a high elevation on thousands of acres in Rose Hall, Montego Bay. The Rose Hall Great House was once owned by the famous and certainly one of the wickedest plantation owners to walk the land of Jamaica, Annie Palmer. She owned hundreds of slaves. This house became haunted after her gruesome death in 1831. The house is scary to look at even in the daytime. There is no stop at the Rose all Great House on your way to Negril however, your tour guide will tell you the history and slow down so that you can take photos.

Bob Marley - Overall a great tour! Informative and emotional. We loved every bit. Only downfall was the tour van was way to small with no leg space. Request the larger tour bus.

10 out of 10 - My mom and I were in Montego Bay for her birthday. Our tour guide was Copely. He picked us up on time, and drove us to a shop so we could purchase souvenirs while he picked up some other passengers. He was very kind, funny, and entertaining during the drive to Nine Mile. He also told us which vendors to avoid once in Nine Mile so we wouldn't waste money. Afterwards we stopped for lunch before taking us back to our hotels. This was actually my favorite excursion while in Jamaica. Tip: bring socks if you don't want to walk barefoot while in the church and mausoleums, because you will be asked to remove your shoes as a sign of respect. I highly recommend this tour, and hopefully you'll be lucky enough to have Copely as your guide.

Do it, you need to.. - A fantastic opportunity to visit the birthplace and resting place of Bob Marley. The drive up to Nine Mile is ‘interesting’. The tour was excellent, lots of good information and a wee bit of live music half way round. Not going to say too much, but this might not suit folk who have an issue with smoking, just go with the flow and enjoy. Actually found the experience to be quite moving, left Nine Mile feeling hopeful and positive.

Great tour but long drive! - When you get to Nine Miles…they stop off at a little shop to use the restroom from your 2 1/2 hour drive to get there. You can also buy weed, spacecake, gummies and use them on the property. You then go to tour Bob Marley’s Grandmothers house and are allowed to take pics. They take you to a bar where you can purchase drinks before you walk up a hill to see the Graves of Bob Marley’s Mother, Bob Marley’s brother and Bob Marley himself. You have to remove your shoes and no pictures are allowed. Then you tour the home of Bob Marley and see his bed at the age of 13 before him and his mom moved to Kingston. You are allowed to take pictures. The famous rock Bob Marley sat on when he wrote his music…they encourage you to sit, take pictures and take a hit in honor of Bob. Overall, it’s about an 2 tour to walk around the property. The only downside is the long drive but I knew this before I booked the trip. I recommend this tour if you want to see History and pay respect to Bob Marley at his grave!

Must See🇯🇲❤️ - Our guide Copley was a pleasure to hangout with. He entertained us with fun facts about the island’s history and interesting info on Jamaican life while driving up on the twisty mountain roads. The Nine mile experience was moving and the walk up to Mt Zion was more pleasure than pain. The musicians & Mt Zion tour guide rounded out a lovely unforgettable experience!!

Another off our tick box list! - A well organised tour - collected on time and a fabulous informative journey to Nine Mile with Copely who navigated the tricky roads with real skill. It was great to see more of the island as until today have only experienced the coastline - such a lush green country. Fantastic to hear the full lifestory of Bob Marley and to experience the areas where he gained his inspiration.

Bob Marley Fan - You had better be in good climbing condition as you will be climbing alot of stairs and hills that are steep and rocky, good for billie goats. We enjoyed the experience of visiting Bob Marley's home and his and moms mausoleums. Wear comfortable shoes that can be removed easily as you can't wear your shoes in the mausoleums.

What I wanted to... - What I wanted to experience was taking some time to soak up the mountain peaks but there was no time for that!
