Great history lesson of the island and culture - We absolutely loved our tour guide Kirk! We’ve gone around the world and have done city tours but nothing compared to this. Kirk was so informative and answered all our questions. He took us to all the spots we were interested in and places he wanted us to see where locals go. The one memorable thing I’ll never forget is when he drove us up into the mountains and shared a glimpse of his community and home. We got to meet his neighbors and see the view they have of the whole island. We got to see an ackee tree and he explained all the details about the fruit. We asked him to take us to a jerk hut and he took us to scotchies. We shared a beautiful lunch with him and got to know him. We loved him so much we asked for him to take us to the airport on our last day. We have also recommended other guests and I’m also going to recommending my friends to him. We loved the experience and we’re so sad to be leaving but we promise to come back and call on Kirk!
