• Greenwood Great House - Constructed in the early 18th century, the Greenwood Great House is a plantation home situated at a high elevation, typical of Jamaican Great Houses. Unlike the Rose Hall Great House, Greenwood offers a serene, relaxing, and elegant atmosphere without any haunting tales. The captivating history and architecture of the house are truly impressive. Upon arrival, visitors are warmly welcomed by a friendly resident guide who escorts them to the old English Pub for check-in. After approximately five minutes, guests embark on a one-hour tour. The Great House showcases original 17th and 18th-century museum pieces, meticulously crafted by highly skilled artisans. Notable items include a piano custom-built for King Edward VII, rocking chairs, polyphons, and more. The tour transports visitors back to the 1700s. At the tour’s conclusion, guests are invited to unwind and enjoy a beer in the pub.

• Rose Hall Great House - The Rose Hall Great House, an early 18th-century plantation home, is perched on a high elevation across thousands of acres in Rose Hall, Montego Bay. It was once owned by the infamous Annie Palmer, one of Jamaica’s most notorious plantation owners, who owned hundreds of slaves. Annie Palmer is known for having killed three of her four husbands before being strangled by the fourth. Her gruesome death in 1831 left the house haunted. The house’s eerie appearance is unsettling even during the day. Although the tour does not include a stop at the Rose Hall Haunted Mansion, the guide shares its history and pauses for photo opportunities.

It is highly recommended to conclude the day’s activities with a visit to Scotchies for an unparalleled jerk experience. The food is prepared with the entire family in mind, ensuring even children can enjoy the deliciously tender pork and succulent chicken with festival.
