Exceptional tour and tour guide - This tour was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip, which was already filled with numerous highlights. Quick logistical summary: Even though our lodge wasn't listed as a pickup point, Kenneth picked us up and coordinated private transportation for the entire day. At our first stop, the Curi-Cancha Reserve, we were thrilled to see hummingbirds, coatis, toucans, toucanettes, and spider monkeys, as well as magnificent primary growth trees, such as fig trees. Next, we visited the delightful local coffee spot, Cafe Monteverde, where we purchased some delicious drinks and snacks. Following that, we proceeded to the Monteverde Cloud Forest, where we were fortunate enough to spot quetzals and various trogon birds, wild boars, and a tarantula. Kenneth then dropped us back at our lodge to rest from approximately 2 PM to 6 PM before picking us up for an exhilarating night hike. During the night hike, we encountered another tarantula, several frogs, a baby pit viper, and a sloth with her baby. Kenneth was an exceptional tour guide. Without his expertise, our experience wouldn't have been nearly as enriching. Thanks to his profound knowledge of plants and animals (especially birds), along with his spotting/calling and photography skills, we were able to witness many amazing sights, including toucans performing a nest switch, trogons mating, and multiple rare quetzals. Kenneth was able to answer any question we had in great detail. Beyond his professional expertise, Kenneth's warm and grounding presence made it a joy to spend the day with him. His passion for his work and these habitats was infectious; we would have already been excited by all we were seeing, but his enthusiasm increased our excitement tenfold. Our sincere thanks to Kenneth for facilitating this exceptional experience. I will be recommending this tour to anyone visiting Monteverde!

Monteverde full day tour - Amazing full day tour! Our guide Mario was excellent and we had a great time at all three spots! Highly recommended

Amazing guide, amazing day - Mario is a top notch guide, other guides ask him for advice, he was incredible at seeing things no one else could (even other guides). Great sense of humour, very knowledgeable, and just a great guy. We’re very glad to have met and thanks for the awesome day!

Wonderful experience! - We had such a fantastic day and were able to see everything that we were hoping to see... Sloth, Toucans, Toucanetts, Quetzals, Spider Monkeys! Mario, our guide made a huge difference. He was knowledgeable and so pleasant to hang out with. Ending the day in the hot springs was just icing on the cake. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

A Really Fun Day!! - Our family had a great time spending the day exploring some of Monte Verde's main attractions. It was especially fun for our kids because instead of going on just another hike, they felt like a we were on a scavenger hunt looking for the hidden treasures. Our tour guide, Ken was friendly, engaging and just as enthusiastic himself to locate these elusive animals. We saw so many which we definitely never would have seen otherwise including the national bird, toucans, monkeys, a moving sloth, a snake, leaf carrying ants, tarantulas and some very, very camouflaged insects. Even with three places to see the schedule did not feel overwhelming because after exploring Curicancha and then Monte Verde reserve at our own pace with a short break in-between, we had a couple hours to relax before doing the night hike. I definitely recommend this tour!

Best tour of our trip, we very strongly recommend - We had an absolutely fantastic day with Kenneth, and we would highly recommend him to anyone else. If you can get him! The man is in demand. A quick outline of the day: * Early start with a walk in one of the forests (we started in Curi Cancha) * Break for coffee (so good!) and a snack * Another walk in another of the forests (we did Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve) * Break at your hotel * Night walk in yet another of the reserves It was certainly the highlight of our trip, and given the limited time we had in Monteverde the best decision we made. Some of the things that we really appreciated + Kenneth is extremely good company. We had a great time hanging out with him all day + He's also very knowledgable. He shared countless bits of information with us. And he knows the specific habitats and habits of animals and birds, so can find them + Kenneth is a superb photographer (check out Feather Hunter on Insta omg). He really helped us to get great shots of the birds and animals through his scope + To be clear, he'll pick you up and drop you off as well. He's got a comfy car that can handle the terrain Monteverde, its forests, and its fauna are absolutely breathtaking. You will not regret this tour as a way to see and experience it all.

Great views and wildlife. - Where to start? It was so amazing. Our guide Keneth was full of so much knowledge. He even knew how to take quality pics and teach me. HIGHLY recommend him and this tour. We did everything at our own pace, which didn’t feel rushed! Thank you again!

My best experience in Costa Rica! - This was my best experience in Costa Rica. Kenneth is an excellent guide and likes to answer all your questions. We saw so many beautiful animals like monkeys, birds, spiders, mamals and a sloth. Especially the night hike was awesome. I liked it so much, that I did another night hike with Kenneth two days later. I can absolutely recommend to do this tour if you are nearby.

Wonderful Costa Rican experience! - Kenneth was an amazing tour guide. We booked him for a full day of three tours and loved it all. He is so knowledgable and patiently answered all our questions and taught us so much about Costa Rica, birds, wildlife, and the local area. He even made the tours interesting enough that our two kids (age 6 and 9) did not get bored, instead they were engaged in learning. We saw snakes, more birds than we could count, armadillos, a tarantula, hummingbirds, and more. Kenneth also took great pics for us on our phones so that we could have some memories of the trip. Be sure to book with him, you will love it!

Great Guide. A lot for one day - The package is good for someone with very little time in the area. I found it to be a bit strenuous and ended up skipping the night tour. (I had driven 3 hours to arrive at 8 am) My guide Jonatan was awesome and I had a fun time with him!! We saw a quetzal!!
