Our tour was offered by... - Our tour was offered by PARISMATICTOUR. The vehicle used was a Volkswagen Caravelle van that was spacious and comfortable. Our guide was Julian, who is specialized in art history and architecture. Traveling time flew by fast while we were engaged in conversation on diverse topics. Mt St Michael is a majestic destination and worth the effort. It is beauty, art, architecture, history, faith, and an escape that will provide leisure to your soul. Very much worth being able to enjoy it at your own pace. We also did a private 8 hr tour of the Palace of Versailles that was magical and regret not getting a private tour of the Louvre Museum. We were satisfied with our private tour provided by PARISMATICTOUR and recommend it without reservation.

Perfect day trip to Mont St Michel! - Our family of 5 had a perfect day trip to Mont St Michel! Our driver, Philippe, was fabulous! He was wonderful at pointing out landmarks and sharing interesting facts about France. We were able to skip the lines and see the best parts of the abbey. We learned so much. After exploring and taking many photos, we were able to nap on the long ride back to Paris. I would highly recommend this outing! It was a magical, unforgettable day!

Excellent tour! - Bertrand was the best tour guide we have met in 10 years of European travel. He was knowledgeable in history, politics, philosophy, the arts and France. He should be a professor at the university!!

Bucket List- done! A must see! - What a beautiful trip! This was my mother’s bucket list pick. Done, checked off! A once in a lifetime opportunity for those of us that live in the U.S. . We had a wonderful tour guide and driver. Philip is the best! He is funny, calm, accommodating, friendly and very knowledgeable. It was all perfect! The drive took about 3 hours from Paris. We stopped half way to stretch and grab a quick bite. When we arrived, we walked about 100 feet to the tram that takes you on the bridge to Mt. St Michel. The village is beautiful with many shops and cafes. It took 400 plus steps to get to the top. If you have mobility issues, this is not a place for you. The village is do-able but not the walk up to the monastery. Thank you Philip! You made it very enjoyable! Merci beaucoup!

Enjoyable Day Trip to Mont Saint Michel - Julien (our Driver and Guide) was excellent, professional and knowledgeable! He made the travel to and from Mont Saint Michel seem much shorter than the expected 8 hours round-trip travel time. Julien was able to explain background history of the French and British, and how it relates to the Normandy region in general and of course he gave us the necessary background to explain how Mont Saint Michel was founded and how is has evolved to present day. His personal interest in history of architecture allowed him to further explain the historical architecture we witnessed at Mont Saint Michel! Thank you for a memorable and enjoyable trip!

A Remarkable Tour - Unknowingly, we booked our tour on a Sunday when the Monastery was marking the anniversary of its first dedication. As such, the Roman Catholic mass at the Abbey was presided by the Bishop of Pontoise, making our visit extra special. Our guide and driver Thomas was very knowledgeable and accommodating, and had a great sense of humor. Himself well-traveled, he had many topics of conversation he could cover. The round-trip of 8 hours on the road were easy and relaxing. This tour is definitely a less stressful way to visit Mont Saint Michel in one day.

Very good time - Enjoyed the trip with my family of 7. Wish we had a bigger van as opposed to just a 7 passenger seater van as it felt tight for such a large group. Our guide Fred was knowledgable and kind and explained the site really well. Thank you!!

Mont st michel - Mont st Michel was very very crowded due to a holiday. In spite of this our driver was marvelous. We were very happy with him.

Over priced. Our driver... - Over priced. Our driver drove like it was a race to get there as fast as possible often times going way above the speed limit and weaving in and out of traffic. When we got there it was a sprint to the top of the mountain and then our driver (I will not call him a guide) said he was going back to the car to nap. Don’t be fooled. There is no private tour or “personalization of the tour”. There are better cheaper options out there. Save your money on this one.
