Enjoy at Naadam Festival for Full Day
Ulaanbaatar - 11 Jul- 2 Day: Attend the opening ceremony of the Naadam Festival at the Ulaanbaatar national stadium. This is Mongolia’s largest, most vibrant, and significant annual cultural event, highlighting three sports: horse racing, Mongolian-style wrestling, and archery. These skills are rooted in the capabilities of Genghis Khan’s legendary military, which conquered and controlled the largest empire the world has ever known.
• At 8 am, be picked up from the hotel lobby, join the Naadam group, and visit the central Naadam stadium.
• Visit the stadium for the ankle-bone shooting competition.
• Next, visit the archery field, where men and women archers in colorful ethnic national costumes will be shooting arrows from their bows.
• Wander around outside the Naadam stadium to observe locals in their national costumes, and explore food and trade corners.
• Enter the main stadium for the opening ceremony of the Naadam Festival.

Baga Gazriin Chuluu
Baga Gazriin Chuluu (Small Rock Formation) - 17 Jul – 8 Day: Travel to Baga Gazriin Chuluu. The next day, begin the journey to Baga Gazariin Chuluu, an area of granite stone mountains with the highest peak at 1700 m above sea level. It holds historical remains, such as the ruins of a monastery, ancient tombs, and rock inscriptions. Let your imagination be challenged by the unique features of the granite formations in Baga Gazariin Chuluu, explore the old monastery ruins, and enjoy the tranquility and vastness of the Gobi Desert.
Terelj National Park
Gorkhi Terelj National Park - 18 Jul–9 Day: This is one of the most visited national parks in Mongolia, renowned for its natural beauty, forested alpine mountains, and intriguing rock formations (Massive wool-sack weather conditions). In the afternoon, explore the national park and see Turtle Rock, an interesting rock formation resembling a turtle. Also, visit the Ariyabal meditation temple, surrounded by scenic mountains with massive rock formations, located on top of the mountain. From the top, enjoy the breathtaking view overlooking Terelj National Park.
Chinggis Khan’s Statue Complex and Ulaanbaatar City Tour
Genghis Khan Statue Complex - After breakfast, return to Ulaanbaatar. On the way, visit the “Genghis Khan Statue Complex,” currently the largest (40m high) equestrian statue in the world. The base structure houses a recreation area, restaurants, and souvenir shops. From here, take an elevator or walk to the head of the horse through the chest and back neck of the horse, where you can enjoy a panoramic view over the complex area.
Ulaanbaatar - In the afternoon, explore the city and visit the “Gandan” Monastery, Mongolia’s largest functioning Buddhist monastery, including the Mongolian Buddhist University. The highlight of visiting Gandan is a 26-meter-high majestic gilded indoor statue of Megjid Janraisig. Continue to visit the Chinggis Khan’s Museum, which presents the Mongol Empire and the life and achievements of Genghis Khan, the genius of the millennium who founded the largest empire the world has ever seen, depicted from prehistoric times to the present day. There is an equestrian statue of Sukhbaatar and a massive bronze statue of Genghis Khan with his four warriors in front of Parliament House. The next highlight is a famous cultural show in the city, featuring traditional performances by singers, dancers, and contortionists. It’s a wonderful opportunity to hear Khoomii (throat singing) and see some fabulous costumes.
