Good way to see all the town without walking - 1 hour trip , very frequent buses run every 20 minutes. A Very hilly place and busy traffic . Easy to get to stop from train station (although difficult finding right exit - asl tourist office in station) Easy pay on bus - open air part. the ear phones didn't work, some taped over!! but all pretty explanatory from excellent map

Great Birthday day out - Boarded the bus at pick up point 6 which was at train station exit. Bus commentary was good and plenty of site to take pictures. Enjoyed being on the race circuit for part of the journey.

We loved it! - This is a great way to get around and see Monaco. We stayed on for the first hour and did the complete tour, then we got off at the places we wanted to see. Stops are hard to find but you are looking for a red bus stop. Look at the on-line map and see which one is nearest. We had no problems but I imagine in the summer months when busy, there could be queues.

Great way to get acclimated! - We used the Hop On Hop Off (Ho-Ho) bus on the first day of our visit to Monaco. It was a great way to get a sense of the area and a huge help dealing with the hilly terrain. It would have been helpful to see a few more signs to direct us to the Ho-Ho stops, and we really needed guidance getting to the car museum from the Palace. Overall it was a good value and a positive part of our visit.

Perfect for s snapshop of Monaco - We went in to Monaco by train from Nice & picked up the Hop On, Hop Off bus a short walk from the Monte Carlo station. Initially, the bank card machine wasn't working so the driver suggested that we wait 30 minutes for the next bus. This definitely wasn't an option for us as our time was very limited so he agreed to let us on & he would try the machine at the next stop. Of course, this meant that he wouldn't provide us with the earphones so we had no idea of the commentary until the next stop, at least. We tried again at the next stop but the card machine still wouldn't work. We then ended up getting off the bus (although we had no idea where we were at that time) in order to get the next bus 30 minutes later. Finally managed to get a payment through and really enjoyed the rest of the bus tour! We stopped at a few of the stops to wander around, saw the changing of the guard at the palace, visited the casino, etc All in all, a very enjoyable bus tour, especially if you have limited time & want a general overview. Pity about the admin issues.

Not up to par with other hip-hop tours - I've done many hip-hop tours in different cities, this was different. No Maps available with stop info. Pick up location very difficult to locate. The driver was a no use whatsoever. He speed through the city not making one comment about where you were, where you were going or what was there. HIs only comment would be the stop number.

Next time I'll use the local buses - I've been to Monaco a couple of times. I've been on the tour before, but this time I had family with me on their first visit so we thought we'd do it again as a good way for them to look around. The driver didn't give us any headphones, so we had no commentary, there was only one bus an hour instead of every 30 minutes, and the tour itself was cut short due to roadworks. It rained, so everyone had to go downstairs, but there is no standing, so capacity is very limited. To be honest if I went again (and for the three of us who went), I would spend the money on local buses to get around (it's very easy and the drivers are very helpful) or just get a taxi to the top of the hills and walk down from there!

Not good at all - We usually love the hop on hop off buses in every city, but this was bad. No signs where the buses stop so we walked a lot to find the stops in +32 degrees. Bus overcrowded and HOT! Dont waste your money
