Additional Information

Hampton Court Palace is my preferred locale for guided tours as it is a beautiful place with a wealth of sights to behold!

I aim to help you experience the lifestyles of the Tudors. We will explore Henry VIII’s kitchens, delve into the intricate task of catering to the Royal Court and their esteemed visitors, and marvel at the grand Great Hall with its hammerbeam roof and artistically carved “eavesdroppers”. Not to forget, a visit to the chapel with a paradise ceiling.

Next, we’ll appreciate the splendid baroque wing of Hampton Court Palace with its extraordinary art and learn about the palace’s new proprietors.

For the finale, we’ll go for a pleasing walk in the Palace’s stunning gardens adorned with acclaimed yew trees, allow ourselves to get lost in the maze, and lay our eyes on the oldest vine in the world!

Great way to see the palace - Our guide, Olga, was amazing. She met us at the train station in London and rode with us to Hampton Court Palace in order to give us some history about the palace. She was so knowledgeable. Her tour was very thorough and interesting.

An incredible journey into the past. - An exceptional day spent at Hampton court, Olga our guide was so full of knowledge and I'm sure, left to our own devices we would not have seen a fraction of what we eventually did. Highly recommended.

Individual Tour booking recommended - First, I want to compliment our tour guide Olga Babenco. She was very professional, friendly, and really knew her material. The tour with her was thorough and lasted about 2 1/2 hours. We experienced a communication problem where after I had paid the tour thru Viator Olga informed me via text or email that there was an additional charge for the tour itself and how to go about paying that online. I was confused because I thought that the tour price through Viator included the tour of the castle. So I did not pay the additional cost online. When we got to the castle, I was informed by the people at the gate that I had to go back to the office to purchase an entrance ticket for the tour, which was $50.40 for the two of us. The original plan for this particular tour thru Viator should have included the statement that there would be an additional charge for the castle. Under inclusions and exclusions, it did say, under exclusions, tour of the castle, which I found to be misleading and confusing. I discovered, when at the castle, we did not need to book a tour thru Viator at all. We could’ve purchased individual tours through the office, which included audio for the complete tour which would’ve been around $50 for the two of us.
