“PLEASANT DISCOVERY!!…with a group of people from an organized trip…we did the tour with tasting at the ‘La Vedetta’ vinegar factory!!…in Castelvetro…near Modena…the Venturelli family’s vinegar factory and farmhouse!!…they divided us into two groups !!…I was with the gentleman who started the whole business!!…another group was with his son Claudio!!…who naturally works in the company!!…basically the balsamic vinegar is produced with the best grapes from the Modenese Trebbiano !!…then the gentleman explained to us that after pressing and cooking the product is moved inside the barrels of each battery!!…where it remains to age for many years!!…and then arrives at the smallest barrel and from there it is bottled!!…a truly painstaking job!!…but which really requires a lot of patience!!…we also did the tasting…and I can honestly say that balsamic vinegar…is not all the same!!…obviously many nuances and different taste from one type to another!!…what I understood in the end is that in addition to all the work!!…it really takes a lot of passion to produce this balsamic vinegar!!…but to these Venturelli gentlemen!!…just the there is no lack of passion for their work!!…they practically dedicate all their time…here in the vinegar factory!!…truly great entrepreneurs!!…it is definitely worth a visit to this vinegar factory!!…you discover some very important things!!… that then we find ourselves at the table!!…” - Reviewed on 2023-09-21
