A great introduction to Malaga - We enjoyed the tour as it allowed us to focus on the layout of Malaga, which can be confusing, without worrying about where we were. The guide was very informative and pleasant. The length of the tour was excellent and Malaga is fairly flat making for an easy walk.

Not what we were expecting and so disappointed - The cultural side was a bit disappointing. We were expecting more information on the history of Malaga. Concentrated too much on the cathedral. Difficult to follow and hear what the guide was saying.

Excellent guide but problems finding the guide - The cathedral is interesting and the guide did a good job. I would have given this a higher rating; however, there were problems finding the guide who did not have a orange umbella.

Less Than Anticipated - From the title of this tour and it’s initial description, I expected to be shown the major sites of old Malaga - like the Teatro Romano - and finish with a visit to the cathedral. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. He provided an excellent tour of the cathedral, for much less than two hours, and seemed to feel that this was all that was required of him. I rechecked your web site after the fact to see whether my expectations had been unreasonable and became more confused - as I scrolled down, the description was of a different tour entirely. I suggest that you work on your web site to avoid such confusion in future.

Be careful that the tour you book is actually the one you want - Reviewing this tour is problematic in that it was not the tour advertised on Viator. It may be corrected as of this writing, but the tour I booked was supposed to last 2 hours and, according to the confirmation I received, was to include admission to both the Teatro Romano and Alcazaba. However, it included neither. It only included admission to the Cathedral. In addition, the tour lasted exactly one hour (I timed it). As it turned out, the tour I DID go on was the second part of a larger tour - the first part of which DID include the other locations - so we had to wait for those people to show up. Once underway, we made several brief stops on the way to the Cathedral. These few stops were entertaining but did not really provide anything memorable. The real highlight was the Cathedral itself. The bottom line is that the tour I received was basically similar to what one would have if purchasing a typical "skip the line" entry but included our guide's interpretation. I would never have booked this if I'd known that is what it was. For someone who IS interested in a "skip the line" enrty to the Cathedral and a guided tour of the interior this is a fine choice. Our guide was funny and delightful. Just beware that the tour you book may not actually be the tour you get. To their credit, I did received a refund after filing a complaint.

No Show - Scheduled this tour for April 25th when we arrived in Malaga on a cruise. Was a short walk from pier to the meeting location Plaza de la Merced. Arrived 15 minutes early and waited 45 minutes. No guide showed up. Two couples standing there waiting..... Good news is Viator issued a full refund after some discussion. Very disappointing. First time we ever experienced a guide no show situation.

No show - Arrived at the square (pickup location) 15 minutes before meeting time. Gave up a half hour after the meeting time. No tour guide ever showed up with an orange umbrella- even though we saw other tours with such guides. This was a real disappointment and would suggest avoiding.
