ABOUT THE TRIP:
The prime attraction of this Segway journey is the Gibralfaro Castle, an extravagant stronghold, constructed by the Hammudid dynasty in the beginning of the 11th century.
Malaga’s Alcazaba is positioned on a hill at the heart of the city, offering a panoramic view of the port. It consists of two fortified walls. Previously, it was linked to the city’s ramparts, providing a third layer of defense, yet only two inner walls stand today. The first wall, moulded according to the hill’s landscape, fully encloses the second interior area and is interspersed with defensive towers.

Top marks - friendly and helpful - My teenage family and I had a great experience - top marks for friendliness and fun. We had never been on Segways before, Rodrigo - our guide - gave us excellent instructions and lots of support. The castle was well worth a visit and getting there by Segway made it a highlight of our stay in Malaga. Also some great recommendations for things to do and places to eat.

Beautiful - Have to say this was the best part of our holiday! Great demonstration at the start and great chat throughout the castle is amazing and the views were breath taking. And after words he gave us the best advice on where to go and where to eat for the rest of our holiday

HIGHLY recommend - All of it. It really surpassed my expectations, and we had a great time. We were even able to extend our tour at short notice which was fabulous. I now intend on utilising a Segway tour, where ever possible, on every trip I take! I am converted!

Segway tour to the castle. - We are a mature couple in our 60s and have never been on a Segway before, but Rodriguo was immensely patient and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone and will return to do another in a few months time.

Fabulous and scenic Segway tour with an excellent guide! - We really loved the Segway Castle Tour!
It was great fun, extremely good value for money and the scenery is really stunning!
Rodrigo our tour guide was excellent, friendly & as it was our first time on a Segway, he gave us easy instructions & made sure we were safe & confident. He had lots of good tips for places to visit in Malaga .

You have to do this when in Malaga- its so easy for all ages - I was apprehensive at first as I assumed there would be some level of skill needed to control the Segway, but after a 10 minute practice we were very comfortable.
The guide, Santi, is a superstar. He ensures everyone is perfectly safe at all times, doesnt make any dramas if you get a bit stuck, just a lovely guy.
We did the one hour trip to the castle and that was ideal, once at the castle Santi will tell you lots of interesting detail about the city of Malaga. Amazing views.
We will certainly be booking the 2 hour trip soon, hopefully with Santi as the group leader.

Awesome!!! Highly recommend. - So glad we did this Segway tour. Elias was a fantastic guide. My son (12) was nervous but Elias made him feel so comfortable that now he wants to do Segway tours everywhere we visit!!! Totally worth the time and money. Would definitely go again.

Malaga Segway Private Tours - A lovely way to get a feel for the city. Our guide, Rodrigo was very attentive to our group ensuring we received the necessary training before departing. The pace of the tour was spot . Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Malaga

Malaga castle scam - Beware. There is a gang operating in the gardens below the castle. They squirted what a bystander said was bird droppings onto my back. He tried to lure me into a remote part of the garden where he said there was water. When I didn’t go he “helpfully” tried to wipe it off with a tissue while trying to remove my wallet. I caught him doing it. Reported to police and they said it happens a lot.
