After meeting with the guide, the journey begins at Gibralfaro Castle. This historic site was originally established atop Mount Gibralfaro by the Phoenicians in the 8th century BC. In addition to its rich history, the castle’s elevated position offers stunning views. There will be ample opportunity to capture photos of the city and coastline before proceeding to another fortress, the Alcazaba of Malaga. Constructed in the 11th century during Muslim rule, its architecture is distinctly different from the rest of Malaga.

The tour continues into Malaga’s city center en route to the harbor. The guide, an expert with extensive knowledge of the city, will share insights into daily life in Malaga. The tour concludes at the waterfront, where participants are free to explore the city’s café-and-shop-lined promenade at their leisure.
