- El Caminito del Rey - Embark on a scenic walking tour spanning approximately 7.7 kilometers, featuring trails and walkways, culminating in a thrilling suspension bridge crossing at a height of around 100 meters. The adventure begins with a 2 km trek to the control point, where each participant will receive a protective helmet and have their footwear checked for suitability before proceeding.
The journey starts at the Gaitanejo reservoir, leading through the narrow Gaitanejo Gorge, just 10 meters wide, where the first footbridge begins. The path continues through El Soto, nestled between the Gaitanejo Gorge and Tajo de las Palomas canyons, home to the King’s bridge. Participants will enjoy the sound of water as they pass through the Valle del Hoyo.
In the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, the walkways soar over 100 meters high, concluding at Avenida del Caminito del Rey, a path that guides visitors to El Chorro Station.
