Arequipa - Base Camp\n\nVolcan Misti - At 8:00 is the pick up from your hotel in arequipa city. The car trip lasts an hour and a half up to 3,400 meters, where we will start the trek. The ascent will be approximately six hours to the base camp that is located at 4,665 meters. During the walk you can see the flora and fauna of the place such as cacti and different birds. Upon arrival at the camp we will prepare our tents and eat. It was highly valued by the Incas who made offerings and human sacrifices, some discovered in the smaller crater. A venture to its peak doesn’t require technical skill, resembling a mountain trek, but it’s crucial to be suitably acclimatized prior to the ascent.
