Additional Information

In the year 2014, the district was featured in Macleans magazine’s ‘Top Ten Must-Visit Places’. The district was the only Canadian tourist spot included in Travel and Leisure Magazine’s 2015 ‘Best Places to Visit’ list.

In Prince Edward district, events and festivals are a year-round delight. While the renowned Lavender Festival won’t occur this year, we will still be taking a tour of the awe-inspiring lavender meadows showcasing a wide variety of lavender in an array of colours, aromas, and flavours.

Our single-day expedition will involve a wine tasting experience at local vineyards and sampling various cheese types produced locally. We’ll explore several art museums, a sculpture park, the notable Lake on the Mountain (also known as Onokenoga, or Lake of the Gods by the Mohawk tribe) and the famous dunes. We’ll also drive through the historic loyalist-pathway and pay a visit to the charming towns of Bloomfield, Wellington, and Picton.
