Fantastic-must do! - Rafael was a wonderful host and chef. He helped us create 3 traditional Peruvian dishes, pisco sour, and a surprise desert at the end. With each dish he explained the history of the food as well as his personal connections to the dish. He definitely has one the of the best lomo Saltado in Lima! Definitely a must do in Lima!

Must do in Lima - Chef was incredibly knowledgeable on food history, alternative recipes and able to answer every question you had. He was patient and allowed us to be engaged in every dish while also giving us time to enjoy each one. The ingredients used tasted amazing and fresh and could tell he was an experienced chef! Overall, so glad we were able to take the class with Chef Rafael! He was even able to instruct the class in Spanish & English.

Great food...and plenty to take! - There was so much food leftover. The chef was also very personable and a great instructor. The only drawback is you don't do a lot of cooking per se. You watch and might stir something here and there. I enjoyed it, but it's more like you get a personal chef cooking for you and your group in an intimate setting.

Fun, festive class with Rafael - Had a fantastic evening with Rafael. He is a great chef, very friendly and personable, and a great chef/teacher. His English is flawless, and he made the recipes comprehensible even to a rookie like I. It was a great class and the food was all fresh and delicious and repeatable. Thanks much Rafael!

A Nice Start Into Peruvian Culinary Experience - I enjoyed this Peruvian food cooking class. It was a nice introduction to three famous Peruvian dishes and the Pisco Sour. Chef Rafael used high quality ingredients and did a great job of guiding us in assembling the dishes. Most of the ingredients have been prepared ahead of time, so there wasn't much cutting or chopping on our part. It is all about assembling and putting everything together to create each dish. As an avid cook, I would have preferred to chop or cut ingredients from scratch, including measuring them. However, due to the limited 3-hour timeframe, most of the main parts have already been put together by the chef. Nevertheless, I still recommend this experience if you want to learn how to make Classic Ceviche, Causa Relleno, Lomo Salteado, and Pisco Sour. Enjoy!
