- iFLY Indoor Skydiving - Minneapolis - Arrive at iFLY Minneapolis, and get started by putting on your gear and going through a specialized training session from an expert flight instructor.
You’ll learn how to safely float in an 800-horsepower vertical wind tunnel that generates a wall-to-wall cushion of air - commonly used by professional skydivers - without having to jump from a plane. Just about anyone can fly, and no experience is necessary.
Once you’re inside the enclosed space of the flight chamber, a tunnel operator slowly increases the wind speed until you and your instructor are airborne. Feel the adrenaline rush as you float at wind speeds reaching 130 to 175 mph (209 to 282 kph). The stable wall-to-wall airflow keeps you from falling off the column of air, and your instructor is on hand at all times to guide you.
The entire indoor skydiving experience takes about 75 minutes from start to finish. Each session includes up to six people, but you fly one-on-one with your instructor for 60 seconds in the wind tunnel twice.

Experience the rush of skydiving without having to plunge from a plane. Believe it! Visit iFLY Minneapolis, an elite indoor skydiving center driven by an advanced vertical wind tunnel. Post a training session, you get to enjoy the sensation of free-falling, aided by a professional instructor. You don’t need any prior experience, and at the end, you have the opportunity to take home a custom-made flight certificate.
- If you have previous neck, back, heart, injuries or shoulder dislocations, are pregnant or wearing a hard cast - you will not be able to fly.
- In order to provide a safe experience for its customers and instructors, iFLY may not be able to accommodate flyers who weigh between 260-300 lbs and will not be able to accommodate flyers whose weight exceeds 300 lbs. Upon check in for flight reservations, additional evaluation by local staff will be required to determine if flyers between 260-300 lbs can be accommodated and whether additional restrictions may apply.
- Minimum age is 3 years
- Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver
- It is recommended that you wear well-fitting, lace-up sneakers or running shoes and comfortable clothes
- If you need to reschedule after your reservation is made please call the location directly. Modifications to reservation dates and times cannot be done any other way.

50+ Just do it! - So much fun! On a girls' weekend trip, there were two of us who wanted to skydive (40s and 50s). It was the highlight of the weekend! Troy was our instructor and made it really easy to understand. The 4 jump package was perfect because you get a chance to become accustomed to the wind and relax to enjoy the ride on the wind!

Blown away by iFly with Megan Lundsten! - My fiance and I went to indoor skydiving at iFly as a Christmas gift from family. We had been actual skydiving before and were worried that we may be underwhelmed. To our surprise, it turned out to be such a FANTASTIC experience (that we may have even liked more - or just the same as the real thing)! We had the best instructor/guide with us - Megan Lundsten made our experience. She truly had the best energy, adapted to all personality types and ages in our group - from the nervous nellies to the thrill-seekers, and the young kids to the older adults. We plan to go again, and highly recommend to request her when you do!

Happy New Year Flight - This was such a great experience. Paul did such an amazing job; he could read if you were nervous and was SO patient with me and everyone that was in the group. We did not know what to expect at 1st, but Paul did an amazing job helping us know what to do and keeping us calm throughout the entire experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. My nephew has downs and he LOVED it, and Paul was so good with him. Extra kudos to you Paul for making it a great experience! Thank you!

Fun experience - My Kids (21 &14) and I wanted to try something new and chose IFly. We had a great time with a wonderful instructor who put 1st timers at ease. While the experience was rather expensive, it was a good time together with my kids.

Great Place to Experience Skydiving - The instructor was friendly, and knowledgeable. Was honest in his response to a new comer in that he regular sky dove 300 times and was still nervous 1st time out in the indoor experience. He was laid back and professional, Enjoyed the flight time, just wish there was more of it with the purchase price, yes you can do add ons, but speaking for your initial purchase. This is an expensive excursion, but is well worth the experience if you do not know if you want to do the real deal later in life. This is our second I fly experience and when we are in a town that has one, we always go. my daughter wants to do a real skydive, told her she has to wait till she is 18 and am glad that we have been able to show her different experiences. Only thing that was a bit of a bummer, other I flys seem to go higher into the tube for the "high" flight. Not so much here.

You've gotta' try it at least once! - It was awesome, just a great new experience. The staff is really good. Paul is a great instructor. Take advantage of the package deal if you want to buy again on the day you fly - we did as we are definitely doing it again!

Pay the extra $20.00 fir full experience - This was a fun experience. I would highly suggest to pay the extra money to fly to the top ( it really should be included in package- too bad).

Hidden prices, confusing registration, very expensive - I would like to rate iFLY as high, but cannot.
Our experience with the staff and the flights was very good, but that was muted by the whole registration process. We got different answers from different staff we talked to as to options for groups. When we got there they told us the full experience as shown in their videos was not included and if we wanted that , thats an extra $20+. Then photos and videos are an extra $$ charge on top of that. And then at the end, there is a high pressure sales pitch to get you to buy more sessions. It is $100++ per person for only 2 minutes of flight.

Pricey for Amount of Fly Time - Unique experience, something to try, it was fun for the time they were doing it, but disappointed in the actual amount of fly time. I brought my son and his friend there for his birthday, paid for 2 flights each plus 2 high flights (based on other reviews). Each flight is a minute long and the high flight was combined into the second flight at the end. For beginners, they really needed more time to adjust and get use to it. The fly time should be longer, otherwise to make it worthwhile you need to be prepared to spend money on additional flights. Do not plan to return, too pricey for what you get.
Also a staff person was vacuuming in the background so pictures and videos have her in the background vacuuming.
